As much as I and the other Speedhunters love classic cars, the one problem with them is that they are "classic". What I mean, is that there is not quite the same amount of "fresh" material about classic cars as there is the for the newer stuff. That is why when I found these recently taken photos of this amazing black 240Z, I knew I had to share them.

This car perfectly combines the look of the vintage 240Z race cars with a modern vibe that is perfect for the street. The gleaming black paint is the icing on the cake.

The Panasport wheels on the car manage to look monstrous, even under the crazy fender flares.

In this shot, you can see the differences between the standard front end (right) and the G-nose (left). In Japan, the Z was available with both of them.

I'm not sure what's under the hood of this thing, but judging by the exterior and the roll bar, I imagine it's packing something a little more than stock.

If you will excuse me, I'm going to scroll back up and drool over the pictures some more.

Z Gotto-san's Mixi Photo Album (Mixi is a Japanese social networking site, I'm afraid you will have to be a member of the site to view the album)

Mike! Another Golden find! Was very close to buying a 260z a while back after seeing some of your coverage of old school meet-ups on auto-otaku! Sadly the sale didn't go through, but at least there's still the silvia! :)

It's tough to beat a JDM S30, they just do all of the right things to really bring out the awesome lines of the car.

The flares, and the whole body kit are made by Arita Speed.  The wheels are RS Watanabe R-Types, not Panasports.  The difference between the red and black car is the body kit on the black car incorporates the G-Nose, which was a Nissan factory option for the 240Z.  It brings the nose of car further out and aids in aero dynamics, which are horrible for the S30 chassis.
