I saw this photo posted in the Ziptied "Pics of the Day" thread and had to post it here. I don't know where the picture was taken or who shot it, but street drift pictures are always cool, and are even better with cars like this. This JZZ30 Soarer looks to be a part of Team Noisemaker and is obviously sliding around a street somewhere in Japan. According to the EXIF data, the photo was taken back in 2005. Anyone know more about this car? I can't recall seeing recently at any events or in Japanese magazines.

Found on Ziptied

Don't think anyone can truely appreciate how obnoxious the BN Sports spoilers are until you see them in person, they are insultingly huge.

I want one.

there is NO SUCH thing as " STREET DRIFT CAR " in U.S ! All the guys copying Japanese Street style DONT even drive thier famed internet cars on the street because they are SCARED of police and BAR tickets nor STREET DRIFT , not counting the industrial parking lots edits or track !   reading internet blogs and forums makes it so FAKE!  yes alot of ugly drift cars in the US dont get it , but the fact whats killing it , is people who are so much into style and gettiing it right , but they dont even do whats the essence of a "STREET DRIFT CAR"  =drifting it in the streets and risking it! constantly ! not just for the track !

long builds, blogging , style, popularity, forum fame, ?   Is that Drifting?

Go outside and drift and "street" your car!   The biggest difference between Japan and US in my opinion is that actually street DRIFT and Touge drift because they want it! Thats the meaning of a "STREET DRIFT CAR" not just style and making it right for track events and internet fame.

Not everyone has thousands of dollars to dump into their drift car/daily driver so we do what we can. I drift on the streets every corner i get a chance at. Hitting it sideways beautifully. To all the rich ppl that style their cars and never slide them..... sell your car please.

I got this from Club Lexo:

The Soarer is so sick, It handles like a Hachi on the turns, the wheels are Gold ABC Exclusive's Balkens made by SSR 18x10+0 fronts and 18x12+0 Rears. The Soarer sports the obvious Vertex Kit with custom Rear fenders. For his rears he cut his rear quarter panels and flared it out 50mm( a lot of bodywork almost 6 months), This was done before the Vertex Ridge kit came out on the market. He said he wanted to keep the stock body lines, that’s why he didn't go with the BN Blister kit (the only wide body kit available at the time).

The Soarer is powered by a 2JZ-GTE bottom end with a 1JZ-GTE head and a Big Single Greddy T78-33D turbo, he quoted 500hp.
