As the morning sun hit the track the drivers were out in full potential. Raceline's Stadium Drift Pro Tour Round #3 had commenced, but a very different outlook for the day.... Rather than driving on a 15 second course they were competing on Queenslands biggest and well known raceway "Queensland Raceway"

Mumblezz's new type x 180 had some lovely WEDs on them which set of the car perfectly!

11" on pureness...

New talent hit the track with a young teenager in his well presented S13

This young man was rocking it out all day from start to finish with his AE86 doing some crazy entries!

Danny Kennealy was Drift Australia's Top 5 competitor in 2008, Queensland Raceway is his home and track and you can surely tell!

Team Green where driving their hearts out. They have driven this track for many years and know it back to front, it's good to see people in the game for as long as these boys have been! Respect to John Cain, Andy Pinder and Andy Green.

Josh Coote & Eugene Arendsend where holding some tight battles through turn 3 throughout turn 6. Josh Coote (white 180SX) was last year's winner of Super Drift 2008 (class below Drift Australia)... Eugene Arendsen in the black R32/R34 normally drives a dialed 180SX which has been a competitor in Drift Australia for many years. He still managed to uphold a show with what he was in though....

LOOSE CANNON, precisely describes Mick Tyson in the green Cefiro with a worked SR20DET he really knows how to handle that thing.

Well i was on the wall taking photos of the entries and this guy came heading for me and the other photographers. I quickly jumped out of the way thinking he was going to hit the wall! He did he came in very fast and went onto the grass and scraped the wall and held it for about 50m. Noone has ever really done that because there is a layer of grass before the wall which normally causes you to spin. This guy and his 2 other teammates from Tamworth, down south, have made an outstanding appearance for themselves.

Such tight battles, which made such tight competition, perfect for watching!

Andrew Pinder and John Cain showing their team spirit for Team Green.

Josh Coote is one of the fastest drivers I've ever seen....

The CR KAI's work so well with this car with flush fitment all around!

This S13 is so familiar to many around QLD as Paul Dean the driver is a very talented and very consistent competitor. This photo shows such great entries he was pulling out.

This photo sums it up for the day, the car is blown out (i'm sorry) but i love the low shutter wider perspective. It was such a clear crisp morning.....

A great day in all, some carnage and some never to be forgotten battles between the pros and amateurs! Raceline always hold an uplifting event, with huge crowds and awesome driving. Keep posted for more Raceline covered features by Casey Dhnaram.... And be on the lookout for my next feature "AE71 & AE86 Feature"

Thanks For Looking,

Wow, Ken Gushi is no longer my hero. He's number 2 next to Josh Coote. He drifts the hell out of that 180sx, a pro waiting to happen. He'll be formula d in no time, awesome. Great Pics
