Subaru will always be known first and foremost for its Impreza, but in Japan the Impreza's bigger brother the Legacy is just as popular. Although they are generally favored as street cars, tuned Legacy's do show up to the track pretty often. I spotted this fully built second gen Legacy Wagon at an HKS track day at Tsukuba last year. I recall it being one of the fastest cars of the day, and that's not hard to imagine when you look at what's been to this thing. In the photo you can spot the full cage, Endless brakes, Advan wheels, and a fat front mount intercooler along with that aggressive aero kit. And that's just on the outside...

Do you guys want to see some more Legacy love this month?

HELL YES

iono how many others are out there, but personally I have a real thing for fast wagons in general, my current daily is a Volvo 740 turbo wagon that I'm turning into a weekend racer and this Legacy is a great example of what I hope to achieve, maybe you should do a segment on wagons? Aquired taste I know lol

I proudly own and drive a 1991 Subaru Legacy sedan. I love the Legacys sedan and wagon alike and have had the chanced to drive both. A great car that here in the good ol' USA I feel is over looked by most tuners. More Legacy for AWD month fitting since that the Subaru Legacy celebrates 20 years. Maybe time for a retrospective of the Legacy through the years...
