In case anyone hasn't seen it (this is from well before the YouTube era) here's Guy Ritchie's BMW promo film from the early 2000s featuring Clive Owen, Madonna, and most importantly the E39 M5.

I remember watching this in high school and thinking it was the coolest thing in the world. Maybe it still is.

I always thought those videos were awesome but I also always thought it should have been Jason Statham driving and with his E38 V12 7 Series.

Very traditional Guy Ritchie film. That was a cool and motivating advertising concept by BMW  donno why they stopped doing the films. Im sure they where pricey but Im sure they got the funds in Bravaria. Anyway good find keep'em comming.....

BMW should do a remake with the new models. Such as the X6M, 135i, and Z35i

Frankenheimer's Ambush is still my favorite. All of the films were outstanding, but the first one just nailed it.

if you were a member of the bmw mailing list about a DECADE ago when this came out, they actually mailed out free dvds with the first round of bmw films. i had one for awhile till my dvd case got jacked. i totally agree that hostage was the best story, but star was still funny as ***.
