I love it how Audi laid down the challenge to BMW and then they just got owned! Just brilliant. Audi asked for it and boy did BMW deliver!

The ads are actually real, I've seen multiple pictures of the two from different perspectives.

Audi made the mistake of calling BMW out with a rather general "your move, BMW" but vaguely related to chess phrase. BMW took advantage of these facts and decided to give Audi's the final blow by calling checkmate, a very ingenious and suitable answer for the given circumstances.
Now, the bitter fans answering in bitter manner on different internet media outlets is something normal, but unfortunately cannot undo the "pnwage" Audi suffered in real-life on a busy Californian highway.

The Audi versus BMW ad campaign was amusing while it lasted. Kudos to those behind it.
As serious auto-enthusiasts we could also consider the significance of Porsche's response to Nissan's new GT-R with the release of the new 911 Turbo-"S" in 2010.
It would appear that the horsepower wars between the auto manufacturers may meet or exceed the 600hp watermark!

haha, yes bmw have a knack for cheeky adverts. but the audi is the new regular A4, and the beemer is the M3, i havent seen anything about a new shape RS4 yet? i still like the current one more, its pretty badass.
