lost in translation
Yep, it is not yet in there. We want that desktop guys, it is the cherry.
oops sorry! Fixed
Is it just me or do the latest drift cars match the description of a clown more and more lately? They're painted up in bright flamboyant colors that usually never match, they make silly noises, and they do tricks that are only useful when pleasing a crowd.
@RobbyturboAMG : I'm with you on the colors and the noises (except for the V8 cars....NASTY, EVIL noises are a good thing, whiny 4-banger noise, not so much). But my main concern is the fake-away roof scoops as seen above. I thought those lost popularity in the late '90s? We all know your Honduh Civic isn't mid-engine, so what's with the extra piece of plastic up there? They must like adding drag and weight with no performance boosting qualities....I guess?
UHHHH I DONT KNOW WHERE YOU GUYS HAVE BEEN BUT I DON'T SEE TOO MUCH DIFFERENT WITH THE NEW DRIFT CARS COMPARED TO THE OLD ONES THEY WERE ALWAYS LOUD OBNOXIOUS COLORS.. IF WE REMEMBER THE SILCAMINO IN THE FIRST FORMULA D EXPO, OR THE BOSOZOKU STYLE WHICH IS DEDICATED SOLELY TO OUTLANDISH BODY STYLING AND COLORS.. AND THEY ARE ALWAYS LOUD STRAIGHT PIPED BEASTS , ANY OPTION VIDEO FROM THE 90'S WILLL PROVE THIS, IT JUST SEEMS LIKE MORE AND MORE ARE GONG THE WAY OF THE BIG AMERICAN SWAP,.. INSTEAD OF A INLINE TURBO SWAP...SOUNDS TO ME LIKE YOU GUYS ARE JUST HATERS,...
OH YEAH AND THE ROOF SCOOP FROM WHAT I HAVE SEEN FROM PERSONAL VIEWING IS FUNCTIONAL ON DRIFT CARS, I MEAN THEY DO GET COMPLETELY FILLED WITH SMOKE WHILE RUNNIING, ANY THAT ARENT I AGREE SHOULD NOT BE THERE.. TRY LOOKING INSIDE AT THE NEXT SHOW...BUT I THINK YOU GUYS ARENT DRIFT FANS JUST CRITICS...
RESPONSE
@ ryoga81 i assure you there is nothing fake about the scoops on either car. The 350 may not be rear engined but it does have a rear mounted radiator hence the fully functional air scoops, the s15 the scoop is employed to draw fresh air into the cabin and with the amount of smoke the S15 produces perhaps to help clear the cabin after a run :)
@AE71-4AGZE : Its not that I hate drifting and not that I hate these cars. If they want to make they're cars silly then all rights to them. I was just wondering if it was only me noticing the connections between a D1 driftcar and a Clown from you're local circus. I might have sounded insulting towards these vehicles but in all honesty I don't hate these cars, I actually enjoy them like a clown doing flips and spraying other clowns with pocket flowers. If I hated drifting and these cars then I'd be sure to say so. Thats another thing, these vehicles make something possible for everybody. They make it so no matter how rediculious you're car can turns out, just slide it sideways and then you'll get respect for you're LSD trip on wheels.
"FUNNY HOW.. FUNNY LIKE A CLOWN , ARE THESE CARS HERE TO AMUSE YOU " LOL J/K, ...NO BUT SERIOUSLY I SEE WHAT YOU MEANT , AND I AGREE DRIFTING IS BASICALLY JUST SHOWBOATING AND CAR STUNTS, BUT I LOVE IT, GRANTED NOT THE BEST WAY TO WIN A RACE , BUT DEFINATELY A BLAST TO WATCH AND AS IT PROGRESSES I'M SEEING ALOT MORE SKILL AND HIGH SPEEED RISK, IF YOU LOVE PUTTIN THE ASS OUT THEN YOU GOT MY RESPECT , WHETHER YOU LIKE UBER CLEAN...STICKERCHARGED ..OR SLAMMED AND RUSTED...KEEP IT SIDEWAYS
