don'ttalkmuch: they're rotas. you need to educate yourself before you jump on everyone else and think you know. as previously mentioned, regamasters don't have spacer holes between the stud holes.

also i agree, this is a weak post for speedhunters. the cream white of the car and the new white of the wheels further cheapen the look, and lead me to believe this setup was a lucky (if that) mishap.

also, the wheels look super-thin, sunk as a skunk, and sitting on dumb rubberband tires.

Ok so maybe not to evryones taste. I think it would be very short sighted not to appreciate at least in a small way they amount of effort that goes into something as clean as this, its an old car and most you see everyday are nails.

Its the mix of styles i like, clean, blanked mirror, small fenders, super detailed and with a different choice of motosport style rim that suits the clean lines, Im sure it's on air ride too, so again a fair amount of effort and i doubt its had it all done in a shop. My only quible is perhaps the interior and if they were genuine ragemasters or spoon sw388's, but kudos

I took a stock Golf with big wheels.  I carefully disassembled everything from the vehicle, down to the floor pan.  Then, I moved the floor pan two inches to the left, and carefully reassembled everything.  I call it "Golf, two inches to the left".

my darling american chums, here in blighty lots of us see less as more when it comes to car modifying, we dont need chrome rims the size of a ferris wheel to make our willys look bigger. Its all about simplicity. Judging by the replies from the american population 'simple' is something you guys should really get no? Matts car (dry) is a real demonstration of what you can do when your cheque book stays in your back pocket and you take your time to modify a car.
