Laurence from Japan sent us this great little film about extending the life of a drift car's bumper. The clip is part of the Phat Sliggity DVD.

Enjoy!

Thankyou very much for posting it Mikeさん, I owe you one!

The only annoying part about the clip is that kid kept touching the camera and moving the steering wheel when I did the stop-motion repair of the front right, that is why it jumps around a bit! I hope people like it!

Regards

Laurence

@Pro l33t: sure, but it is better to spend that money on gas and tires than on repairable (body)parts. ;)

Man forget the haters and the idiots who would buy a new bumper every time it gets a little scratch. This video is sick, it brought a huge smile to my face. Shows that some drifters don't take themselves too seriously and can have fun

Yeah, I love the comments from you hatin' bastards.  These morons act like everybody is born drifting perfectly and if you post a video on the internet, it better be a flawless run.  Oh, don't forget that we're all rich, so we can just wreck parts and buy brand new ones every time!...screw it, just buy a new car when that one gets dirty! Right?  Has anybody on these boards ever had to practice anything?  Or were you doing everything perfectly since you took your first steps?

.

@Pro |33t : So what IS it like being so rich you can just buy new parts every time they get wrecked?

@planetape : Where can I find a video of your drifting skills?  I'd be very interested to see if you can actually drift...who knows, maybe you do actually have room to talk but I'd seriously doubt it.

@FreddieK : Same as planetape, unless you want to man-up and post some video proof of your own, just do us all a favor and shut up.

.

The short version is this : you don't like it, don't watch it.  Simple, right?

What a bunch of whiners! How are you supposed to get better? By practicing perhaps? Accidents do happen. It is drifting after all. So all those haters, where are your videos showing your god-like talent? No where? Thought so.

Laurence said:

Thankyou for the comments and errr, constructive criticism!

J and Mikeyee are spot on, it's all about fun... and as ryoga81 and Dietmar said, getting good takes practice and I need lots more of it. :)

er33-NZ, the police in Japan don't like drifting quite as much as we do so I got a $5,000, lost my licence for two years and got rid of the car. :(

Repairing your car in a makeshift manner = priceless

Nothing can compare to the feeling of repairing your baby with your own bare hands. Haters have seriously no PASSION at all.

DIY repairs, adds to the soul of every sport.
