I'm still waiting for the day somebody builds a 6 rotor engine.
Where did they get that motor? Mazda Motorsport doesn't sell them in their parts catalog last time I looked.

No it doesn't the RX8 is 3 rotor twin turbo, his RX7 is 4 rotor NA.

Mad Mike has also a 4 rotor N/A engine (26B).....both sounds like......eeeerrrr Rotaries....fast revving.
Aside from the obvious, anyone noticed the custom carbon fiber roof?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Mazda Factory Racing does manufacture 13B and 12A peripheral port rotor housings... At least Racing Beat and KIWI-RE advertise them for sale. Racing Beat also manufactures their own version of the 13B PP housing. Probably a custom eccentric shaft, though, considering the equidistant separation.
I believe you can get 4 rotor eccentric shafts and the intermediate housings from Aussie, thats where you'll find more 4 rotors than anywhere else afaik.
I see 4 rotor here in Puerto Rico all the time buddy, old news for me. but it looks nice and it sounds nice but i like Mad Mike better it sounds more manly!!! hahaha!!

i love it! unlike om1kron, however, i love it because it does *not* sound like a 787B! the 787's 4-rotor sounds intense and amazing, but this one is clearly a different beast, i've never heard a sound like this one. it revs up so quickly!

I saw this thing at SEMA. In the dozen's of times I passed it no one was even noticing it. Just the lame 240 near it.
Well except the first time when I screamed like a little girl.
And it kind of looked like a TBI since the injectors are shot into their intake ports from so far away!

Awesome pulling power it just kept coming like a waterfall... endless and relentless!
Like only using the throttle when the kart was straightened coming out of bends.
How do they put the power to the ground in the RX8?
You constantly on & off the gas with the grunt the engines delivers.

Great to see more four rotars out there!! carj jarret, the place to get shafts and the BEST four rotar builds is in good old NZ built by PPRE, we love ours!!
