Huh, I guessed wrong.  Doesn't matter though, the sound of all those R35s (& R34) racing is amazing.

wow that was pretty awesome. they were really at it.

I guessed the right outcome. The 34 won. It started from the back and reeled in the lead car. One more lap  and keiichi wouulda been overtaken. Just like all the other 35s

The video is a tad misleading, the R34 had the race from the start.  both the white r35's had pretty bad understeer, the R34 was alot more composed and was faster in the straights, it just had to keep pulling back as they where not letting it pass.  Pretty typical Japanese video though, there is no way the r34 could be allowed to win, but if you know what to look for the video shows the real winner.

R34 GTR still the KING...

Tight battle and as good as the R35 GTR is, I still love the R34 GTR.

I agree with you 100% cause the R34 looked a lot more stable in the corners and corner exit looked faster than the others. Also Tarzan wasn't revving the car right out to it's regular 9,000 red line, he was shifting a lot at 7,000...wtf is that? I've never seen that car rev to so little in ANY of the Best Motoring videos i ever collected and saw.

The R35 Keichi was driving though had some good top end speed, Was that the Esprit R35?

I think I would still take an R34 over the 35.  At least then I could repair the tranny without having to apply for new mortgage.

I really wish Nissan had developed a manual tranny that could handle the R35's engine. Solely relying on braking and steering techniques for turns has got to be a nuisance at moments like this.

JJS Blitz has a manual Tranny for the R35,  fingers crossed,  it looks like it will be in the D1GP this year

Bad understeer is an understatement, all the R35's had TERRIBLE understeer. Tarzan in the R34 should have taken it sooner.

I don't think I'll ever stop loving the Mines R34, or the R34 in general!  Would have been interesting to throw in the MCR R34 in there too.

yeah the 34 would have passed all if he wasnt blocked entire race by whichever white 35 was in second.

No wonder the GTR weighs like an aeroplane! It´s huge compared to the R34! I wonder how the results will be if you do the same race next year. The r34 have been developed during like 10 years so give the GTR some time and it probably will be faster

I thought the R34 was going to win. Specially with Tarzan Yamada behind the wheel, but half way thru the video I reminded myself that it is the "king" that is up front. :-/

+1 on Fooman's comment - R34 def was a lot more stable and composed then the R35's

The R34 seemed to have more straightway speed but didnt seem to corner as fast as the R35
