I've seen a lot of this car recently as I've been spending a bit of time at Paul Vlasblom's garage for my own BMW E30 and have been planning to do a feature for some time. Unfortunately though, I've had to wait for the winter weather to clear before I could organize a shoot. So as soon as we got a sunny day here in Holland I pulled out my camera to take some snaps.
The car is a Porsche Cayenne that's been tuned by Techart and is officially called a Magnum... I'm not sure if the term tuned is correct though... Techart has only been responsible for the exterior modifications while 9ff has modified the engine extensively.

The front of the car is dominated by the large carbon frontbumper that provides more than enough cooling for the engine. It then continues into the widened fenders that are also made from carbon. The bodykit also includes the small headlight covers for a meaner look.

I found it hard to convey the sheer presence this car has through these pictures. Every time I saw this car I felt like meeting a celebrity, and felt a bit humbled by its presence.

I should include a photo of a standard Cayenne so you could see how much wider this one has become. The frontfender flows into the sideskirt and then it continues into the rearfender. The rearbumper houses the quad exhaust tips that have butterfly valves inside of them to control the amount of noise. Let me tell you that if the valves are completely open it rumbles like mount Vesuvius erupting.

The wheels are a major part of this build, they are made by BBS and are called the Techart Formula. They measure 22" and are wrapped in 295/30 Pirelli Scorpion Zero tires all round. The car can be lowered by a touch of a button thanks to its air suspension system, so I'm not sure if it's still offroad worthy but then again was it capable of that before it got modified?

The brakes are still the standard items that you can find on the Cayenne Turbo. Off course made by Brembo with a nice Porsche logo.

Back to the front we saw these enormous openings for cool air to rush straight into the engine bay.

The engine needs all the cool air it can get after its trip to 9ff. They upped the horsepower from the standard 450bhp to almost 700bhp. This has been achieved thanks to larger turbo's, reworked exhaust system, bigger injectors and complete new motor management system amongst other things. Too bad there isn't much to see inside the engine bay except for the big...

...Techart logo that adorns the carbon hood with its cooling ducts.

If I would see this coming from behind on the Autobahn I wouldn't think twice and get as fast as possible in the right lane to let this behemoth pass. I know this is not your typical Speedhunter car but it is a very popular car in Europe especially in Germany where Techart is one of the most dominant tuners.
