The VADxRWB Number One has certainly been dividing opinions since we published last week's feature . One thing I think we can all agree on is nobody can deny the quality of the worksmanship that has gone into the car. It's probably the most complete car I've ever featured and it's certainly looking bright for the next VADxRWB project. Hopefully, the next time you hear or read about the VAD name it should be from their Australian division. I've uploaded four desktops from the feature...

Twenty-eleven has been a massive year for Nakai-san and the Rauh Welt brand - the year has seen RWB expand across the world with the first RWB built cars in the USA and the UK. I'm sure most of you have been following the updates of the illest and Hoonigan Porsches online but I wonder how many of you know about Nakai's visit to the United Kingdom earlier this year. Nakai-san has personally overseen and been heavily involved in the build of each RWB car thus far. He is quite clearly very passionate...

Quite a few RWB Porsche creations have been popping up around the world, and the latest addition is this gorgeous example from the UK. RWB's Nakai-san flew over from Japan last week to finish the body work on this 993 that's nicknamed 'Number One'. - Casey RWB Facebook Vogue Auto Design

Sleep deprived form the previous night's 7's Day in Daikoku and Umihotaru PAs I was up nice and early once again on Friday morning last week. My destination for the day was going to be the Rauh Welt workshop in Kashiwa where I would finally get the chance to shoot one of Nakai's greatest creations to date, Rough rhythm. The owner, Toshiya Ichiraku, is the man behind Rauh Welt Kansai and responsible for helping Nakai develop his brand overseas. He had come all the way up to Chiba-ken from...

Right before the Tokyo Auto Salon you may recall I headed to Tsukuba Circuit with Nakai-san of Rauh Welt and his crew of Porsche-crazy customers. I promised you all a final post from the day and I haven't forgotten about it, so you can expect that to come soon but in the mean time I think a look at Nakai's Royal Montegobay is well overdue. After the event ended, with the sun quickly diving for the horizon, we took the car to a nice an empty area of the Tsukuba Circuit premises... ...where...

I saw some of you guys commenting on Dino's feature of the ‘Natty Dread' Porsche regarding the Sunburst 993. So I dug up this shot of the Sunburst demo car doing some laps around Tsukuba. The orange color scheme really sets it off but it doesn't make it look as menacing as the Rauh Welt build car. The offset on the other hand does work wonders, especially considering the massive fenders. -Jeroen Willemsen

We are all great admirers of Nakai-san and Rauh Welt here at Speedhunters. The cars that have rolled out of this small countryside body-shop in Chiba-ken have pretty much all assumed cult status. Nakai's creations are all about raw style, a vision into what he thinks a Porsche should look, sound and even smell like! There are no compromises here, the cars that bare the Rauh Welt touch have been built for one simple thing, driving. I though it would be cool to take a nice and detailed look into...

I just spotted this shot on Flickr in Yori Langhenkel's photostream . He seems to be a young Dutch photographer with a taste for hot transportation appliances like this beautiful 993 GT2. According to the photo caption, this picture was shot near Nurburg.... which can only mean one thing: the owner likes to flog this sexy beast on the Nurburgring Nordschleife... Wow....can you imagine what it must be like to be an position to own a car like this, let alone drive it on the world's most fearsome...

One car that definitely made waves in the United States professional drifting scene is the JIC Magic/Hankook Tires Porsche 993 GT2. This car is being driven in the Formula Drift Series by Northern California's Tyler McQuarrie, a driving instructor at Infineon Raceway. This was the first-ever Porsche to be used for professional drifting in the United States, and as a result, it made a lot of media headlines when it first came out. During the Formula D New Jersey round, it was almost impossible...
