At this year's Razzle Dazzle, it wasn't only the amazing American cars from yesteryear that caught my eye, but the details and style cues that made many of them such automotive and design icons. A good case in point is the Indian Head hood ornament above - something no manufacturer would even dream about these days... ...

Razzle Dazzle did exactly that, and on so many levels. From lowriders to street rods, chopped and channelled customs to rat rods - you name it, every interpretation of the art was represented. The car above was the coolest of the old style chop jobs I saw. I'm guessing it's a '49 or thereabouts Ford, but there was little reference on the original vehicle to go on. And check out the flat glass in the windshield!...

This year's Razzle Dazzle was the 11th running of the steadily growing and very popular event in Yokohama's Honmoku area, conveniently located just a stone's throw from the Mooneyes shop and cafe. '40 Ford above just superb....
