Being a Speedhunter in Southern California, you have to work 7 days a week. Why? You're processing photos, editing, and writing (and sometimes going to special events) from Monday-Friday, but on the weekends, there are ALWAYS different car events to attend! This past weekend in Fontana CA was the Battle of the Imports season finale, at California Speedway. EVENT>> DRAG HONDAS ROCK BATTLE OF THE IMPORTS

Since we already posted a previous story about Battle of the Imports, I thought I'd just make a quick gallery of some of the drag Hondas at the event. There were TONS of them all over the place! It seems like Battle of the Imports is the place to be if you want to see the best of the privateer drag race prepared Hondas. It's been a really, really long time since I've been to an import drag race. This past weekend, since I was planning to attend the Formula Drift event in Las Vegas, we thought it would be only fitting to spend some time over on the straight line portion of Las Vegas Motor Speedway to check out Battle of the Imports! A few weeks back, myself and the rest of the WORLD Racing team headed to Atco, New Jersey for the Battle of the Imports. This was our first Battle of the Imports event in almost three years. Shooting this angle was particularly satisfying. The sun had just gone down in front of the camera, lighting up the distant sky. The cars staging behind the camera were casting their headlight beams onto the car, making it punch out in the foreground. Everything came together, right then and there....
