It's been quite a while since I dropped by the Bee-R workshop in Machida and said hello to Imai-san. So that's exactly what I did the other week, and as always you can be sure to find the guys there working away on some awesome cars. But more on that a little later on. First up I want to concentrate on the Nissan Elgrand project that Imai-san has embarked on. Most of you will know that a lot of people in the tuning world like to kick back and commute around in big comfortable vans like the...

I'm almost certain a lot of you will recognise this car, even from the rear which conceals this particular cars most identifying feature - The Bee*R R34 Skyline front end. The car is owned by Bryn Alban, a guy I met quite sometime ago on the Driftworks message boards. I remember reading the build thread when Bryn originally acquired this R32 GTS-T and remember the moment well when I first seen it with the Bee*R front end conversion. However, it's been one of those cars that somehow always...

I have been following this Bee*R R33 for a while now. It started life at the Bee*R workshop and then it was sold to a guy in the UK. When it arrived in the UK I kept following it but it disappeared from the radar for a while. Then all of a sudden I got an email from a friend who told me the car had been bought by a Dutch guy named Pepijn Warnars. After I got in contact with him he told me he would be present at the recent Automaxx Streetpower event . The perfect time for a meet and greet with one...

Bee*R just released some photos of their entry for the 2011 D1GP. This car is going to replace their famous R324. Can't wait to see this car going sideways with Tsuyoshi Tezuka behind the wheel. You can see some more shots on the GTROC Forum -Jeroen Willemsen

Looking back through my archives I found this cool shot of a BEE-R R34. I haven't seen the car since that cold day at the Lydd circuit.. shame. - Ross I'anson

You don't see a lot of well executed Bee*R conversions outside of Japan especially when they are built by the owner themselves. Bryn Alban's R324 is the exception and can be found in the UK roaming the streets. -Jeroen Willemsen Spotted on Driftworks

Seeing that we're in the middle of a month for all things stanced and flush I thought I'd share a snap that was taken of my newly finished Bee*r B324R drift car. This snap was taken late in the day during a recent British Drift Championship licensing day at Llandow circuit in South Wales. I've affectionately nicknamed this car the Yellow Banana and it has gone through quite a transformation in my 11months of ownership, more so over the last couple of weeks. Note a little historical token...

It's hard to think that the '08 D1GP season is already more than halfway through isn't it?. So far we have seen some pretty exciting stuff go down. There have been several new machines that have debuted this season, but the one I'm about to talk about has to be one of the most unique.
In Japan the Toyota Crown has been one of the best selling sedans on the market for years. While the Crown does offer a rear wheel drive platform, it's weight and softness have kept it from becoming a tuner favorite. The Crown has never really had the tuner following that of other Toyota sedans like the JZX series and the Aristo. The Crown is sort of known as an old person's car in Japan. Kind of like how the Ford Crown Victoria is known in the states. OK, so maybe it's not THAT much of an old person's car, but you still get the idea......

Bee*R is one of those companies that is famous for one thing, building bad ass Skyline's. Their best known car is the yellow D1GP R324, the base car is a R32 but Bee*R has made a body kit conversion so that the front of the car looks like a R34. The entire body kit conversion was designed and perfected in house. The R33 you see here is a bit different than we would normally see from Bee*R. This car was built as a road legal circuit car. One of the things I learned when building a circuit car...
