Welcome to October! We thought for this month's calendar, we'd start to ramp up for the Formula D finals at Irwindale Speedway with this David Lister photograph from last year's event. I can't wait! Pick it up at the Desktops section of the site. :Rod

It's now BMW Month on Speedhunters so we thought it would be fitting to bring together the first 3 series GT racer with the current ALMS GT2 weapon for September's desktop calendar release. Look out for full features on both of these cars in the coming weeks. You can download standard or widescreen Calendars in our desktop section.

In celebration of our new theme, Drift Month , our April 2009 calendar features this stunning image from John Brooks. It was taken during the Red Bull Drifting World Championship in November, last year. The calendar, in two sizes are available in the desktops section of Speedhunters.

The majority of Motor Racing Championships begin during the month of March, so we have chosen to celebrate, Audi Sport, Sebring 12 Hours and the American Le Mans Series on this month's Calendar. The 1999 Sebring 12 hrs was the very first ALMS race. We chose John Brooks cool night image of 'Dindo' Capello driving the Audi R8R, which was making its debut at the event. In celebration of Toyota Month on Speedhunters during February, Mike Garrett and I thought we would show off Manabu Orido in his WedsSport Lexus IS350 GT300 race car from the Super GT championship. Welcome to 2009 on Speedhunters! A new year means new features. Each month we will be releasing a Desktop Calendar in our standard and wide-screen sizes. As January is Mazda month on Speedhunters, I raided one of Mike Garrett's images of a flame shooting FD3S. This was taken at the HPI grip and drift event at Tsukuba, which Mike featured here . Regular Speedhunters may remember my post on the 2008 Porsche Calendar, back in September, the post proved very popular with requests to know when the 2009 edition was available. Surfing around today, I discovered that Lotus and Porsche have released design calendars with renders and illustrations from their respective design studios.
