Some of you had a ‘problem' with the amount of camber on my latest feature . So here is another take on a similar level, this time on a JZX100. The car is just as low but doesn't have the camber. The wheels seems to be a set of Vienna's Noble in black; the contrast works very well with the red exterior. -Jeroen Willemsen

What better way to start this month with the Spirant build JZX100. Any change is a welcome excuse to get this car on Speedhunter. This time the owner has had a small refresh with some new decals. The car is a favorite of mine for a long time. This car has the stance department on lock, it looks that good. -Jeroen Willemsen

So did you guys hear the news about a new Mad Max film being made? Somebody should contact the owner of this JZX90 Chaser in Japan for casting.
The specs on these SSR Formula Mesh wheels? 16x10 -27 up front and 16x11.5 -16 out back. This wheel setup combined with the old school flares and flat paint make this one of the hottest JZX cars I've seen in a while.

Our man in Japan, Dino Dalle Carbonare has the unique responsibility of reporting the latest bits of automotive culture from Japan on a day to day basis. In looking at his MSC Honjyo report, I find it quite amazing just how easy it is for you, the Speedhunters reader to get a sense of what's happening, on the ground, in this far away, exotic land. As for myself, I quite enjoy reporting on how drift culture is consumed by different countries around the world.... so for this blog entry I'm...

The weather forecasts called for some morning showers. But that did not deter the throngs of people that attended D1GP in Anahiem, California. They were in for a treat with the clash between the up-and-coming American drivers and the solid and well known Japanese D1 drivers. I'm sure, in the back of everyone's mind, that the winner of the day would be a Japanese driver. But who would've known that it was to be Daigo Saito in his Toyota Chaser! Here is the shot of the final two warriors...

A while ago I stumbled upon a blog called Nori Yaró , and I became a instant frequent visitor. Last Thursday I found this gem. A Toyota Chaser JZX100 with a BN Sports bodykit, crazy fenders and VS-KF chrome wheels. This thing looks to be in perfect condition and I suppose must be a show queen. I would love to cruise the streets in this monster and maybe pick up some girls at the local club.... -Jeroen Willemsen

The JDM Allstars is an invitational only event where the best drifters from Europe battle it out for top honors. Round two was held on a parking lot in front of Wembley stadium in London. To me it has the same feeling as the D1GP Odaiba event in Tokyo where the background consists of the landmark Fuji TV building. The track was laid out on the parking lot and build with 275 tonnes of concrete barriers. During the event some drivers found out the hard way and crashed their cars into the concrete walls...

I was asked recently to pour over some JDM magazines and get a feel for them. I have to say, I love seeing the high level of tune on the JDM rides in the magazines. They have such a diverse scene over there. Truth be told, the majority of the drift scene appears to revolve around Nissan Silvia's and 1 & 2-JZ powered Toyotas, but there is also a fair bit of coverage to be had on the other players in the scene as well. Drift Tengoku as a magazine drops right into the mix as a more feature focused...

While the Tsukuba Circuit 2000 course may be legendary among Japanese car nuts for its status as a time attack venue and proving ground for the latest in performance technology, it also makes for one hell of a drift course. A few years ago, Tsukuba was the site of the D1GP final round as well as famous drift events like the BM Hai and Advan Drift Meeting. While many of those events have since moved on, Tsukuba still sees some occasional drift action. Actually, for this year D1 Street Legal will be...

Walking around the pit area at England's Donington Park Circuit, I searched and searched for that one particular AE86. I had seen pictures of it on the internet. Painted red in some pictures, green in others. It had some aggressive looking RS Watanabe wheels... 9J width maybe? It was from Team Night Spirit, and it was nowhere to be found. I probably should have hit up the owner on Club4AG prior to our trip to the UK. Unfortunately I didnt - we were too pressed for time, and too busy making preparations...
