The entire rallycross community has been working hard recently to put itself back on the map. When I was much younger, rallycross was one of the most popular motorsports around with fantastic live coverage on BBC's Grandstand show. Names like Schanche and Hansen were synonymous with the incredibly exciting racing. In 2010, rallycross became an official part of the X-Games and one of the men flying the flag for Europe at this year's games was England's Liam Doran. Asides from his do or...

After part one and t wo , it's time to take a look at all the other cars that were present. My friend who accompanied me is a real BMW aficionado and almost as if we planned it was the first hall we entered. This was the entrance in which we entered the Frankfurt Messe. It consists of eleven giant halls filled to the brim with almost every car manufacturer. Audi even managed to build their own giant hall on the square in between the halls. After getting our tickets we made our way to the BMW...

Earls Court in London was famous in the 1950s and '60s as being home to the British International Motor Show, and once again the Goodwood Revival opened up the doors of its very own Art Deco homage to that iconic event. It's the one place on the site where cars past 1966 are actually allowed to be on show – but they have to be quite some car to deserve the honour… Earls Court has a family link to Goodwood: the site of the original building in West London was owned by the...

The 2011 World Rally Championship gets underway this Thursday with an all-new look. In summary, the FIA have introduced a new formulae. With similar regulations to the World Touring Car Championship, they will be using smaller engine 1600cc turbocharged cars. The cars themselves will have a bodykit and limited aerodynamic devices. All WRC cars remain four wheel drive and will have sequential gearboxes. Six time world Champion, Citroen return with their new DS3 model for Sébastien Loeb and...

Never thought I would say this but how cool does this Citroën 2CV looks? It seems that the extreme drops are invading every continent and car culture. -Jeroen Willemsen

Not sure about you, but I'm a big Loeb and Citroen fan, unstoppable in WRC! Although I think Hirvonen will be a force to be reckoned with this year.

I've been shooting video for almost twenty years now (yikes!) and am reasonably handy with the NFS team's studio Panasonic HVX200 HD camera. At this stage I find shooting racing action pretty intuitive... I arrive at the track and instantly know where I want to shoot, what lens to select and what type of camera action is needed. It's all pretty fluid. Now I've recently started to shoot photos too. I have my own film camera language that I've built up with my film/video career...

Sébastien Loeb staked his claim to a place in rallying’s record books recently by clinching an unprecedented fifth consecutive FIA World Rally Championship. Third place for Loeb’s Citroën C4 WRC in Rally Japan, the penultimate round of the 2008 season, was enough to put the title out of reach of his rivals. Loeb and his co-driver, Daniel Elena, now hold a unique record, as their five titles eclipse the previous record of four that they shared with Juha Kankkunen and Tommi...

The Paris Motor Show is currently taking place in France. Lots of car launches have been announced so following the success of our London round up, here comes the first of two posts on the French show. In this post we concentrate on the European cars. The most talked about car at the show was the new Lamborghini Estoque concept. We'll talk about that in a minute, but I'll focus on a couple of more affordable cars first. Volkswagen Golf GTi Concept Doesn't seem that long ago that the 5th...

Intersection, a great, but hard to find Automotive 'style' magazine, have partnered with Citroen to produce one of the first manufacturer produced 'flat black' cars (I'll refrain from using that dreadful 'murdered' term). The C6 'Office' concept is a one off for the Paris Motor Show. Apparently, its designed to suit people who need access to work where ever they are.... So I assume it has a coffee machine :) The lowered car looks impressive, almost, as if it glides...

Great image from Citroën, showing current champion Sébastien Loeb in his Citroën C4 WRC, who won the Acropolis Rally in Greece last week. Loeb now leads the WRC.
