With the cancellation of the fourth round in Thailand, last weekend's FD Malaysia became the season finale for the 2011 Formula Drift Asia series. The glowing embers from Formula DRIFT Irwindale may have been completely extinguished by now, but that doesn't stop those that were there to reminisce about what was arguably, the best FD event of all time. For those that weren't in attendance, luckily, there's videographers like Zak Kerbelis to do their best to capture elements of the event that just can't be live streamed: the tense mood and the atmosphere.

A whole lot goes on during a Formula Drift weekend. There's the initial load in of all the different teams' rigs on Thursday, the countless workers that help set up the track, the drifting, and of course, the throngs among throngs of spectators. It's hard to imagine all that happens, but Larry Chen does quite the number and compresses a whole weekend at Irwindale Speedway, all its happenings, in two minutes and thirty seconds.
