Another break for Skyline Week here on Speedhunters. In our second review of the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, we take a look at some of the pro Production cars launched at the show. Let’s start off with one of the cars of the show, the all new Lamborghini Aventador. We’ve already covered the Aventador, but here area a couple more shots of the car from Geneva. Many manufacturers have caught onto to the trend of Matte and Satin finishes, with Lamborghini being no exception, showing one of three...

The Geneva Motor Show is one of the most significant and largest motor shows for car manufacturers as they debut new cars, showcase future trends and models with concepts and try to out-do their competition. Geneva has a real buzz this year, which has been missing for a while, thanks to the economic climate. Speaking to a few people at the show on press day, the general sentiments was that the positive upturn from Paris continued here, having by-passed the Detroit Show. With so many new cars, we...

Subaru will be showing it's yet to be named version of the FT-86 at the Geneva Motor Show this week. The folks at AutoGuide.com caught this see-through version of the car in Subaru's booth prior to its official debut. It's hard to tell exactly what the finished car will look like, but it seems it's off to a good start.
What do you guys think?

Here we have another reason to get excited about the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.
Toyota has announced it will be showing a new version of the FT-86 concept known as the FT-86 II (pretty innovative name!). The car is said to be much more in line with the production version than the concept that appeared at the 2009 Tokyo show. To hold us over until Geneva, Toyota released this teaser image of the car showing the new front end.
Can't wait to see what the full car looks like!

This year's Geneva Motor Show just got a whole lot more interesting as Subaru officially announced it will be debuting its "Rear Wheel Drive Sports Car Technology Concept", better known as its version of the Toyota FT-86. Little is known about Subaru's version the car other than it will be rear-drive and powered by a boxer motor.
It's still a little tough to grasp the idea a non-AWD Subaru, but I don't have any doubts that this car will generate just as much buzz as Toyota's version of the concept. We'll find out for sure when the Geneva Motor Show opens in early March.

Alpina have released new images of their new B6 GT3 racecar which will compete in the European FiA GT3 championship this year. The car is shown in a 70's retro-style Alpina livery. Shouldn't miss that in your mirrors! Based on the BMW 6 Series coupe, this race car develops 530bhp and 720 Nm of torque from the 4.4 Litre V8 supercharged engine. Top speed is estimated at 177mph and accelerates to 60 in 3.9seconds. This latest entry is the 12th manufacture for the championship. It looks as if...
