Did any of you watch the F1 race today? I'm a bit irritated to be honest, as I think the new "no refueling" rules have really spoiled the show and made F1 even more processional than it already was. Ergh DISAPOINTED!!!... Anyway moving on, I wanted to share some photos with you that I took a few weeks back in the UK. All of you now know that the Top Secret Drag R II Skyline R33 is alive and well in the UK with its current caretakers: G Man and the Skyline specialist shop: TR Racing...

After reading Mike's post about the Team Orange cars and their converted EVO's and Impreza's, I started thinking about a well known Z33 which was converted the other way around, from rwd to awd: this JUN-built Hyper Lemon 350Z R. The rumor is, it was built for someone who lives in Hong Kong and wanted to use it as a Time Attack car, but nothing has been seen of this Z33 since it was finished and delivered. So I'm not sure what happened to it in the end, but I hope to see it again...

Some of our long term readers will know that I'm a big fan of late '70s/early '80s Group 5 and IMSA GTX cars. These are some of the most extreme production based cars that ever raced and for me their crazy bodywork and massive power really sparks the imagination. They are one of the main reasons I'm such a car nut these days. A few months ago, we ran a feature on Group 5 cars at Le Mans and some Speedhunters readers pointed out that the famous Japanese tuning house, Jun ran an RX7...

I have a theory that computer cables like to breed like rabbits. Every time I look behind my computer desk I'm sure there are twice the number of cables from the last time I checked. It's true no?.... I have a similar relationship with car magazines. They breed and multiply when I'm not looking are always threatening to overrun my flat. In the past 2 weeks the situation has got a bit out of hand with car magazine overload. This is further compounded by a recent trip to the international...

My new best friend in the world Rufus Goldstreiff has pointed out that JUN ran a Mazda RX7 at Le Mans in 1981. I had a look through the Theo Badri photo archive and low and behold look what I found!...

Mr. Koyama and the crew at JUN Auto have long been sitting at the top of the tuning game in Japan. Whether it be time attack, drag racing, top speed contests, or pro drifting, JUN Auto has built record setting machines that have done it all. The guys at JUN are no strangers to the Mitsubishi Evolution, and their Evo work includes the Hyper Lemon Evo V which set Tsukuba Circuit on fire back in the late '90s, as well as the current Evo IX driven by Nobushige Kumakubo in the D1GP. Last fall, when...
