The SEMA Show is a huge event. This year is no exception. After a couple of slow years with the recession, business does seem to have picked up as the show floor is now packed with exhibits and the crowds yesterday, traditionally a quieter day, were huge. Different exhibitors use SEMA for different reasons, at one end of the scale, you have the individual who brings their prized proession to the show, all the way through to OEM Manufactures who want to show their latest cars and aftermarket products...

SEMA Show. For those involved in the automotive and aftermarket industry, the word has different meanings. For some it's the rush to complete a build before the start of the show. For others it's about seeing the latest products and connecting with customers and suppliers from around the world. For many SEMA means late nights partying on the strip followed by hungover days on the show floor. ...

Time for my final review of SEMA. I hope these reviews have given you a good insight into this huge trade show. Back to the cars. The Honda stand was simple and low budget (hey, Green carpet, we have a stand!), but had a great variety of CR-Z’s from various builders including in-house 'Honda Design' (Red CR-Z) and Honda Performance Development, better known for their ALMS racecars. This was the first time I had seen the new Honda CR-Z in the flesh and I have to admit, I was impressed...

We hope you are enjoying our extensive coverage of SEMA. This time around, I'll focus on some of the European and Exotic vehicles at the show. There is always a lack of European cars at SEMA, this year was no exception. Despite this, there were a few highlights. This always had a crowd around it. A BMW E92 Vorsteiner 'GTRS3' widebody was covered in Satin Silver Vinyl by Waptivo. This clean M3 sedan was subtle for a SEMA show........until you opened the hood. How about a G-Power supercharger...

The SEMA Show is huge! In recent years, the parking lots and even delivery areas have been used for displays. In this post, I'm going to concentrate on the cars outside. The Source Interlink Group had a diverse display of project cars, located between the halls. I particularly liked this vibrant Mazda RX-4. Great contrast with the Orange and Black. Under the hood lives a 2JZ! The famous 'Project X' also reappeared this year. Since its debut in Popular Hot Rodding magazine over 40 years...

Following on from Mike Garrett’s great coverage of SEMA, I’ll follow up with the first of my general observations at the show. One of my favorite cars at the show was this 1970 Camaro by Spectre. Originally purchased on eBay from the Chicago Police(!) this car became a development workhouse for Spectre before a full rebuild recently. A new LS1 power plant was sourced. I love the bodywork changes which includes Carbon nose, hood and trunk. I could live with that! Staying with the Camaro...

Early November is always a crazy time of year - with SEMA, the VIP Festival, and Super Lap Battle all happening within a week of each other.
On that note, it's time for me to move right along and wrap up my coverage of last week's SEMA Show. Here's one last general look at the show floor....

Well, I just got back to Los Angeles after three calorie-burning days of walking the SEMA show.
There's a lot to cover, so I'm not going to waste any time. Here's another selection of photos from Vegas....

Immediately after the debut of the RTR-X yesterday, I set off to begin my coverage of the 2010 SEMA show - armed with my camera and my most comfortable walking shoes. By the time the day had come to a close, I'd only managed to hit one hall of the massive event.
Here are a few highlights from my first day of hiking around the Las Vegas Convention Center....

The long break between the Top 32 and the Top 16 last Saturday day night allowed plenty of time for us to check out the Fatlace 1 of 1 Car Show.
The Vegas car scene has been on the up for a while now, and this was the perfect spot to get a look....

For my next bit of coverage from the Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend, I'll be focusing on the car show - held all day Saturday in the parking lot of The Orleans hotel.
Besides the hundreds of traditional hot rods and customs that had gathered, there were was plenty of cool stuff to buy, lots of beer consumed, and the occaisonal pinup girl making the rounds......

Last Friday night, after losing my fair share of cash in the casinos I headed over to the The Orleans Hotel to see if anything was going on at ground zero for Viva Las Vegas.
The main show wouldn't be going on until Saturday, but I figured I might be able to catch some cars cruising around under the lights....

I just got home a couple hours ago from Sin City after spending the weekend at "Viva Las Vegas" - the Rockabilly festival and car gathering that's been a Vegas tradition for 13 years now. Over the past year I've been to some of the finest hot rod and custom gatherings on the west coast, but this was my first time ever attending Viva.
With combination of cars, girls, and good music I've found that Viva Las Vegas has all the things that make life worth living....

Just saw some cool shots of this Scion xB on wheresneek . It belongs to one of the members at bB Squad. Taking photos is one thing but finding a cool location to shoot them is a whole different ball game. It all depends on where you live I guess. -Jeroen Willemsen

With the Mustang, Ford is in possession of a very valuable property: a modern car with soul and character. Think about it: the vast majority of car companies these days make all of their models with uniform styling features. It's even hard to distinguish between different cars of the same class these days. It's for this reason I've developed a bit of a soft spot for this retro macho machine, especially the hotted up versions that companies like Shelby and now RTR are putting out. The...

Man I'm tired... I just feel asleep while sitting here working on these photographs. It appears I'm still recovering from a wild week in Las Vegas last week. Oh well... best to crack on and get this story written up before I fall asleep again! It was a pleasant surprise to see Pagani brought over one of the Zonda R chassis from Italy. This was probably one of the most striking cars at SEMA and was the centerpiece of the Pirelli booth. The Zonda was set up right beside the Falken booth where...

Last year at SEMA , I spent a lot of time walking the floor, processing photos and preparing stories for Speedhunters.com. However this year, we had Mike Garrett taking care of these duties, so I was free to focus on securing some exciting new Speedhunters business partnerships and collaborations for 2010. My partner in crime, Rachel Kelly and I were so busy doing back to back meetings, that I didn't get to shoot the whole show. Oh well... I still have some Speedhunters reports coming out this...

Okay, let's continue right on with more coverage from the 2009 SEMA Show. I'll start with this 1984 CRX Mugen Prototype that Honda brought out. A 1980's Honda might not be the first thing you associate with the SEMA Show, but who doesn't like vintage Japanese tuner cars? It was cool to see Honda pulling old cars out of it's collection for the SEMA display....
