For my first post on Speedhunters, I thought i'd take a quick look behind the scenes at NFS-EDC round 1. The paddock always has a relaxed atmosphere with all the drivers more than happy to talk to fans and Outon Park was no exception....

I thought it would be great to show other Speedhunters something unique and exclusive as an extra bonus to our Porsche feature month. As some of you may be aware, I work on the Need for Speed Car team as the Senior Vehicle Concept Artist at our Downtown Vancouver Studio. My father was a bit of a car nut. He introduced me to the term "kicking the tires" at the local dealerships. We weren't a particularly brand loyal family either. Dad cycled through Chevy V8's and even an '86 Corolla (At the time this was the new hotness!). The 'Chongster', otherwise known as the Creative Director (!?!) of Speedhunters asked me to write an introduction piece for the new site. I will try (!) to keep it short and sweet. I originally come from Bristol (a City fan btw!), England and have always been interested in cars, motorsport and design. I have photos from when I was 2 or 3 with posters of Datsun 120Y, Marinas and Austin Allegros(!) on my bedroom wall. Thankfully, my taste has improved since then....i think. I spent my childhood...
