Hybrid cars have been huge sellers in Japan as of late, and so has the Honda Fit. It's only natural to think that the hybrid version of the Fit might be the next big thing. Here's a rather life-like rendering of what Noblesse's version of the new Fit Hybrid is going to look like. They are hard at work developing parts for the car at the moment. Dress-up, circuit, hybrids, vans, and more - if it's a Honda these guys do it all. -Mike Garrett...

Whether its luxed out minivans or serious circuit cars - Noblesse seems to have the Honda scene on lock. Here's their CR-Z project at the track sporting the new Noblesse front bumper, carbon hood. V-Vision suspension, and a set of 17" Volk CE28N's among other things. Doesn't get much better than this. -Mike Garrett...

Found this really cool photo on the Noblesse offical site, taken before a huge nationwide Honda Fit meeting in Japan earlier this month. Noblesse never fails to impress, whether it's with their sexy dress-up builds or their track cars. -Mike Garrett...

Earlier this month I posted a couple of the dress-up tuned vehicles that were done by Noblesse in Japan, but Noblesse also tunes Hondas for the track. Their latest project is a bit unconventional but I'm quite excited about it - a Honda Insight circuit car. With just coilovers, wheels and tires, and brake pads from a Fit RS, the Insight recorded a 51.428 lap time at Mihama Circuit. For comparison's sake the tuned Noblesse Fit RS recently ran a 51.806 lap on the same track. Once the weather cools down, they plan to go at it again with some bolt-on exhaust and intake upgrades. To me, the idea of building an Insight for the track captures the original spirit of hot rodding - transforming a run of the mill hybrid car into something functional and unique....

Isn't it a bit ironic that "luxury-tuned" compact cars are getting to be just as popular as traditional big body luxury sedans? While visiting Japan again, I've been reminded at how just how small the roads can be here, not to mention the high taxes you pay to the Japanese government to keep a large displacement vehicle on the road. Keeping that stuff in mind, it's no surprise at all that cars like this Honda Fit are some of the most popular platforms for luxury tuning. After all, I can't remember ever hearing that a car had to be large to be luxurious....
