Speedhunters
As winter draws to a close in Detroit, after its awful five month visit, I thought it best to skip town for a while and get a head start on summer. A week long search of flights to any warm city I could think of led me to a roundtrip ticket to Los Angeles for $185. The price was just too good to pass up. I rounded up my girlfriend Veronica and made plans with a couple friends in the LA area to crash on their couches. The thought of palm trees and Jamba Juice was enough to keep me in giddy anticipation...

Late last week, I noticed that Detroit based photographer, Pat Daly's Facebook status stated he was going to be heading out to the Detroit Autorama. I immediately pinged him to see if he could grab some snaps for Speedhunters... This is one of the world's most important car shows, so it's essential to get a least a bit of coverage on the site no? Thankfully, Pat agreed to send a few pics my way....

The fifth round of the 2008 American Le Mans Series took place at Lime Rock last weekend. The circuit has a long history, dating back to the 50's, but this year the track had been resurfaced and re-profiled. It wasn't popular with the drivers as it's quite a narrow track so, as expected, there would be collisions during the event! First of those was during qualifying, when the freshly rebuilt Bell Motorsport Aston Martin DBR9 which was hit by the Acura of Franck Montagny. According to...
