This Speedhunters film is going to be my final contribution to the Driver's Month special features. It's a quick portrait of the multiple World Touring Car Champion, Andy Priaulx. Shot last month at the Imola round of the WTTC, we've done our best to capture the essence of Touring Car racing. The intensity, the aggressive driving and the on track dramatics. Thanks Andy Priaulx for taking the time to talk to us. Enjoy the film! ...

While we were in Imola as guests of the BMW WTCC team last month, we shot a film about former multiple Touring Car World Champion, Andy Priaulx which we'll be releasing shortly. He's also been writing a guest blog for Speedhunters about his twin BMW racing weekends at Imola and Road Atlanta, but right now he's in Australia racing at the Bathurst 1000 kms.

It's one of these marque international events that we'll need to Speedhunt one of these years. In the meantime, here's a great vintage video from Bathurst showing the R32 "Godzilla" showing the competition how it's done!

I'm back again this month for an update to the current range of builds I have going on at the moment, I hope you'll enjoy the read. Some of you may remember a post back in March about my time attack build. The car sat lonely in the corner with no paint, as unattractive as any car can look yet the reaction we got to it was something we had never seen before. The picture appeared everywhere; on time attack forums around the world people were debating the legality of it and how fast could it...

Was browsing around YouTube for cool BMW videos when I found this clip from 1990 All Japan Touring Car race at Tsukuba Circuit. Check the E30 M3's, the iconic Group A GT-R's, Ford Sierras and even EF Honda Civics.

The scenery at Tsukuba sure has changed in the nearly 20 years since this was recorded.

Having been a Speedhunter follower since day one, I thought a VW feature month was an ideal opportunity to show you guys the MarkV GTI that myself and some close friends built and have been racing Dubai, UAE. After some email banter, Rod invited me to put a guest blog together tracking my racing activities, so here we are... Most, if not all of you, will have no idea who I am, let alone know that there is a pretty killer race series happening in Dubai. To kill the first question off my name is Phil...

We cover British and World Touring Car Championships on Speedhunters, but I thought it would make a change to look at some of the other series around the world. Hopefully, the start of a little series... We will start off with the Danish Touring Car Championship, with the assistance of Gripping Media who have allowed us to use the images and Aslak Vind, a top Danish motor racing journalist. You maybe surprised to hear there is a Danish championship, but its well supported and has a number of FIA...

A couple days ago, I was browsing through some South American drift photos on Flickr, when I stumbled across some racing photos from an Argentine Touring Car series called TC2000. Now, I am somewhat familiar with the Brazilian Stock Car series, as a playground for the country's F1 outcasts, but not the Argentine equivalent... Intrigued, I decided to dig deeper..... From what I can gather, the TC2000 series is Argentina's answer to DTM. All the cars are silhouette, tube chassis racers, built...

The DTM is a German based Touring Car Championship, currently featuring rear wheel driver 480bhp V8 powered Mercedes and Audi 'silhouette' racecars. Although its called a Touring Car Championship, in reality, its closer to F1 or ALMS/LMS with carbon chassis and huge budgets. Most rounds take place in Germany, but the series also visits Zandvoort (Holland), Brands Hatch (UK), Mugello (Italy) and Barcelona (I shouldnt need to tell you where that is!!!). As you can see, the most obvious feature...
