From rotaries we move onto some S-chassis, but since there weren't that many this year I've decided to combine Fairlady Zs to the post too, once again an all-Nissan selection! We start off with the R.Y.O. S13 "Odyvia" which I already ran a spotlight on back in October , when I first laid eyes on it at the D1 final in Fuji. It's as wild looking from every angle and proof that things down in the south of Japan are done a little differently. You can always expect to find nice rides...

At times it pays to be a little nosey. If it wasn't for my usual curiosity whenever I visit tuning shops, I would have probably never spotted the Z33 350Z you see here. Built by Garage Mak in Nagano for one of their demanding customers this is one Z that I instantly knew I had to grab a few shots of. It was sitting in the far corner of the workshop, slammed low on its 19-inch TE37s looking ready to hit the track then and there. I did feel a little bad for requesting the car be moved outside into...

While walking through the paddock at the latest Japanese Car Festival at Zandvoort I noticed this 350Z with a bunch of people around it. At that time it was impossible to take photos of the car because of the swarm of people. In the afternoon when a lot of the people went to grab some food I quickly managed to shoot these photos. The guys at Fullcartuning , who built this car, did a great job in making one of the nicest 350Z's on Dutch roads. The frontbumper has been replaced in favor for a Nismo...

We featured this 350Z owned by Edafe Omosowofa more than a year ago but a lot has changed since then. The feature created quite a stir with comments saying it couldn't ride and/or drift with this stance.
Now we have some more moving shots of this car thanks to the guys from AWOL.tv. They have really stepped up their game and are creating masterpiece after masterpiece. The video shows the 350Z with a new set of wheels and the new Zero Clearance suspension system made by Stanceworks and AST Suspension.

One of my other ports of call each time I am in Okayama is OS Giken. It's a company I, along with many other enthusiasts around the world, admire for its incredible engineering capabilities. Anyone that is remotely interested or part of the GT-R community will know what great products they create so when I got a call from Yoshi, who takes care of the international side of the business at OS, telling me I should drop by to check out some of their latest creations I instantly took him up on the...

Chances are you probably haven't forgot about Edafe's crazy slammed Z33 from Texas that we featured last fall. Well, the car is alive and well, as proven by this photo taken by our buddies at Mayday Garage during a recent drift day at Mineral Wells Airport.
The Lone Star State once again showing how it's done.

VIP Style... Drift Style... Hella Flush (?) style... Lux Style... Time Attack Style... JDM Style... These are all different labels which have been thrown around the US import car scene in the past few years. Once a style gets solidified, a rule set gets made and standards are created for what one should and shouldn't do with a car build. However, every once and a while a car will come up which makes you scratch your head. This 2006 Nissan 350Z is certainly Hella Flush approved, but it's clean...

For the past half year or so, when it comes to Nissan's performance cars all the talk has been about the R35 GT-R. About a year ago, however, Nismo introduced a car that I still feel has not got the attention it deserves. The car is the Nismo Fairlady Z 380RS and it is quite simply one of the most impressive Z's ever built. While other markets also got a version of the Nismo Z, the Japan market 380RS offers a tuned VQ-based 3.8L engine that makes a very potent 350ps naturally aspirated. It also happens to to be what is in my opinion one of the best looking factory Z's ever. I'm usually not a fan of the "black on black" look, but I think the 380RS in the photo I shot above looks fantastic......

Most normal people in the USA spent Memorial Weekend with their families; barbecueing at the park, or hanging out at the beach or something. Not me. Even though I was invited to a bbq/party at San Francisco's Baker Beach area, I wasn't able to attend because I was doing photo shoots of cars with aggressive stances. I decided to cruise around San Francisco for an afternoon with Prashant Patel from the EXE Life website. Prashant is the owner of this daily driven white Z33 350Z. That's right...
