I'm pretty sure that if you're reading this, we both share a similar passion in our lives. I'm also certain that you can associate with me when I say that our passion for all things mechanically propelled is something that we can never switch off. It's a constant part of who we are and I don't think any of us would change it. I visited the US for the first time in over ten years a week or two back for a short holiday. From the moment we disembarked our flight, I found myself absolutely...

Remember the Mysterious Dodge Charger Daytona that I posted last week? The car got got quite a bit of interest, and our friend Rob Einaudi over at Car Domain did a bit of searching and found that the car is owned by a guy named Sean Machado. It's not a real Daytona, but a very convincing clone built for track use (Sean also owns a genuine Daytona). Rob also dug up this clip of the beast running flat out at Willow Springs with some other Mopars last month.

Just listen to it roar around Big WIllow. Awesome!

Thanks for the tip Rob!

Coming off my NASCAR post, I thought this would be a perfect time to post a quick spotlight of a car I came across at the Mopar Spring Fling show in Van Nuys. From across the grass the shape of this '69 Dodge Charger Daytona was unmistakable, and I quickly found myself heading right toward this piece of Mopar history....

There I was, a Sunday drive when all of a sudden my automobile stopped in the middle of the freeway. Luckily, on the shoulder-side. I limped over and came to stop. When I opened the hood I was greeted with (a lot) of smoke and coolant water. My radiator had cracked and engine overheated... The plan to attend American Sunday on the circuit at Zandvoort wasn't meant to be. I quickly called some friends who were more than happy to pick me up with a trailer. But then a second problem arose, no material...

I'm sure a lot of you guys remember this random snap I posted about this flushed out Charger. At that time it was still a work in progress. In the comments, a hot debate started regarding the wheels and about the fact it was a domestic ride... at least for our American readers. In the meantime, I've continued to follow the build thread and just saw these pictures being posted of the finished product. I'm still amazed at the amount of presence this car has. It just looks like something...

Just saw this Dodge Charger on the Stanceworks forum . It made me stop looking for some other material and I just stared for a while, I swear. I'm not a fan of muscle cars, but this particular one just felt different. The wheels are a big part of this car appearance. Some of you could have identified them as a set from a Dodge Viper, they come in size 22X10 with +22 all-round and they are wrapped with 256/30/22 Yokohama's. The owner is working on making the car go even lower with a set of...

Hey Speedhunters, My name is Kevin Cederwall from Walnut Creek California. I’ve been working on cars and dreaming about having a nice one of my own since before I could even drive. I got extremely lucky though when the opportunity to pick up one of my relative's 68 Dodge Charger came along. This whole process started about 3-4 years ago at around the age of 16, when I picked the car up from his house not knowing what I was getting myself into. But I learned quickly and started with tinkering on the car, with mostly small projects. ...

Hubinette: " Heyyy... what's up guys! So... you got an extra racing suit that fits me? " It's been a while since people have seen me post up here on Speedhunters; I've been on a much needed vacation - traveling, relaxing, and working on other projects. Anyway, I received a shocking phone call this evening from one of the guys I do business with at Mopar. Apparently, due to unfavorable financial issues, Mopar has been forced to withdraw from their sponsorship and support of Samuel...
