Since it is BMW month on Speedhunters, I figure I’d show you guys my newly painted E46 M3. White has always been my favorite color on cars so pretty much all my cars are white. The original color of the car was carbon black, but I decided to change it to a metallic white pearl. The pros at Garage Inc. in Burlingame, Ca performed the full color change. ...

If you already own one of the most extreme build drift S15's on the planet, what kind of car you would drive on a daily basis? It is the same question that Phil Morrison had to answer, in the end he chose this BMW E46 M3. It isn't the most modified M3 out there but it will surely turn some heads with its Eissenmann exhaust. The CSL bootlid is very popular amongst the BMW enthusiasts, this version is entirely made out of carbon to save extra weight. You also see the four exhaust tips from...

The long history of BMW is filled with iconic models, but none of them are as influential as the 3-series. For over 30-years the 3-series has been a favorite of everyone from executives to weekend racers to housewives, and has long stood atop the sport sedan market on all corners of the globe. As part of our special BMW features this month, a look back at history this iconic model is in order....

Just found this pic of a E46 CSL going in hard at what looks like the Karussell on the Nürburgring. A car in its natural habitat and being used for what it was build for. Do any of the European readers have plans to visit the Nürburgring in the nearby future? Let me know in the comments. I wanted to visit the BMW Nürburg Test Center next week to take a closer look at what they have in store. -Jeroen Willemsen

The E46 CSL that Paddy featured a few weeks back is a person favorite of mine, the same goes for Ronni Renaldi 's supercharged M3. I'm not sure if he wanted to build himself a CSLreplica, but with a E46 M3 he was off to a good start. In the end, I even think he has build himself something better! Ronni sure likes his cars, he previously owned a Audi S4 and a E39 M5 and has already sold this car to purchase a Mercedes Benz E55 AMG. At the front we see the signature CSL frontbumper made by...

The other day we got an email from a fellow by the name of Jeffery Sitthi - a photographer and BMW enthusiast based in the Pacific Northwest. Jeffery linked to us to his library of images documenting the Northwest BMW scene, with a particularly strong showing by members of the E90Post community. As part of our overview of BMW culture around the world, we thought you'd like to see some of Jeffery's BMW shots from the beautiful PNW....

We are only one week into BMW month, but already we've had a tremendous response from our readers and the BMW community in general. One of the submissions we got is this E46 M3 'vert owned by a Maryland-based reader who goes by the name "Digitul Heaven". He says that the car is used primarily for runs down the local backroads and mountain passes. Mods include full suspension with F2AutoLife coilovers and staggered 19" DPE wheels. Keep the cool BMW's coming guys! Send pics and a bit of info about the car to Rchong (at) ea.com and we'll try to get it up. -Mike Garrett...

I can't describe the BMW M3 as an exotic but I do feel that it holds some sort of luxury. Every time I see one I'm a bit humbled by the looks and the power it holds beneath. I'm still a fan of Japanese metal, so when the owner of this M3 decided to mix things up a bit I knew I had to put it up here. The car rolls on the famous Work Meister S1 3 piece wheels. The Work wheels look way better than the originals and really fill the big and bulky arches of the M3. I'm not sure about the...

By the time you all read this, I'll most likely be on my way to the airport, bound for Miami. I just love the East Coast in the springtime - it's awesome. What's also awesome is this video I found of popular Speedhunters reader Andy Sapp, doing a little street style drifting with his E46 3-series BMW.

For those who don't know Andy Sapp personally, let me fill you in. Some might recognize Andy as one of the producers of the American drifting documentary film, Slide America (2007). Others who have been following competitive drifting for a while might remember Andy from when he was driving his black E46 BMW in the Formula Drift series.

Whether you know the name or not, Andy Sapp is definitely one to keep your eye on. He is a devoted member of Atlanta's grassroots drifting community, as a member of an ATL drift crew called Drift Mechaniks. I dig the video! Doesn't it make you guys want to drive a piece of Bavarian machinery?
