Our 2012 S-Chassis Festival may have been a couple weeks ago, but we are always down for some S-Chassis loving. Check out this stunning shot that Bill Washburn of Dent Sport Garage sent me of his radical S13. The photo was taken by Mike Proulx of World Rally Sport during last year's Mt. Washington Hill Climb. -Mike Garrett ...

I just stumbled upon this video of Yves Faber tearing through the Eschdorf hill climb course last week in his Fox body Mustang we featured a while ago.

Remember to turn your speakers up!

This year's Hillclimb events just got a whole lot more interesting. This BMW E82 has just had its first shakedown. Despite some small electrical problems the car looks like ready to attack the mountains. The car is powered by a JUDD 3.4 litre V8 and pushes 550ps. You can hear the car being fired up in this video made the by the Hillclimbfans website . -Jeroen Willemsen Georg Plasa Motorsport Gotta thank Fabian Linder for the tip on Facebook

Travis Prastana, the man who does it all is mostly known for his antics on a motorbike. This time he is driving his Subaru rally car and trying to break the hill climb record on Mt. Washington. It seems that Pastrana breaks every record he sets his mind to, so there is no doubt he will take this one with ease.

Last week, Jeroen, gave us a quick spotlight into the Team Edlinger E30. It's hard to tell from the photos alone that the car is more than just a race car but more of a drooling, snarling, fire breathing beast. So, to follow up with that spotlight, here's a video of the car hauling all sorts of behind while on its 2nd race. Turn up those speakers because this car sings!

Any race car that sparks like this E30 is a winner in my book.

Thank you Wolfgang Maringer, from our Facebook page, for sending us this video!

Check out the other videos on the YouTube channel, gawd I wish we had a hillclimb community in North America like they do in parts of Europe!

I'm not sure if any of you remember the first spotlight I dedicated to this car ? Right after I featured the car I got a notice that the car had been burned beyond recognition. But this year Team Edlinger returned with a newly built E30 with the same engine and gearbox but with a new shell. Underneath the car is pretty much the same as the old car but on the exterior a lot has changed. The first thing I noticed is that they removed the canards at the front and rear. The arch extensions have also...

The infamous Pikes Peak Hill Climb is a mere two months away and Rhys promises bring the hill climb record back to the Millen family. But not in a production based Hyundai but rather an unlimited class car, powered by a Hyundai engine, aiming to break sub 10 minute record. Even the current Pikes Peak unlimited class record holder Nobuhiro "Monster" Tajima also has that record in his sights this year. Pikes Peak is going to be something to definitely follow this year.

Today we got word of a new motorsport event that will go down this summer near Virginia City, Nevada. The Spectre 341 Challenge is a hillclimb event being put on Spectre Performance in the spirit of the old Virginia City Hillclimb. This no-holds barred run down a closed mountain road is open to everything from pro-touring muscle cars to tuner cars. They must, however, be street-registered vehicles. More details are on the way, but it's sounding like quite the event and we are planning on making the trip up to Nevada to check it out. For now, you can find more, including the rules and entry info on the official event website. -Mike Garrett...

I had to share this car with you all, very impressive work went into this Evo VI and it was almost all done by one chap named Clive over in the good ol UK. First off, everything except for the cage, the paint, and the engine mapping was done by Clive himself, who is an Aircraft Engineer by trade, so everything you see below, was done by him in his spare time at home. I was checking out what was going on over at http://www.timeattackforums.com and I came across someone who saw this build-up thread...
