The SEMA Show is a huge event. This year is no exception. After a couple of slow years with the recession, business does seem to have picked up as the show floor is now packed with exhibits and the crowds yesterday, traditionally a quieter day, were huge. Different exhibitors use SEMA for different reasons, at one end of the scale, you have the individual who brings their prized proession to the show, all the way through to OEM Manufactures who want to show their latest cars and aftermarket products...

Subaru has shown a couple versions of its BRZ Concept, yet they both lacked something important. Bodywork. Our good friend Jon Sibal has taken it to himself to see what the 2013 BRZ might actually look like and put together this rendering. I have to say it looks quite good. Will Subaru's version look the same? I guess we'll find out soon enough. For more make sure you check out Jon's site . -Mike Garrett

Check this clip of the new Mugen supercharged CR-Z unveiled at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed. With 200ps on tap, I think this makes the CR-Z into the car everyone was waiting for.

Also, it has to be the coolest sounding hybrid street car ever.

Thanks to Jon Sibal for the tip.

Our good friend Jon Sibal came across this very cool looking MINI on the net and I thought it deserved a repost here. Can't beat the look of small wheels on a new MINI, especially when they are Work Equip 01's. Source: JonSibal.com

Fellow Automotive Artist Jon Sibal contacted me after we announced Fredric Aasbo was joining Team Need for Speed and Papadakis Racing for the 2011 Formula Drift Season. Readers may have noticed the Seibon bodykit Stephan Papadakis is using was originally designed by Jon and shown at SEMA. With the original artwork at hand, Jon has recreated our new Team Need for Speed livery with these amazing results. Jon’s render shows off the Matt Black and Rocket Red finish perfectly. Jon chose to use Black...

I often pass by Jon Sibal's blog and it never ceases to amaze me how he finds the time, in between his comic book work to create his artwork. I wish I could steal a few of his hours each day. I can’t remember when I was able to finish up a render to his standard, away from usual day-to-day stuff. So, back in November, I hit on a great idea. Why don’t I create a GTR version of the new McLaren MP4-12C complete with some of the classic liveries I designed way back 15 years ago. I started...

I have always admired artists that are skilled in drawing stuff especially when those artists can draw cars. One of those artists is Jon Sibal, he is the same guy that has drawn the Top Secret GTR Proto back in 2007. This time however he has transformed the new 370Z into a real eye catcher. I have seen some of his earlier renderings that could not be build in real life but this time he wanted to make that wasn't the case. The car features a complete widebody kit that could be available to the...
