All eyes have been on the Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada these past 2 weeks, so it's only fitting that we showcase a little piece of the west coast scene by highlighting some cool local S13s. These cars may look a bit rough around the edges but they do have oodles of style. I get the feeling these cars, there are just build to drift so they don't have to look like showqueens. The white S13 has had quite a history as it was vandalized last year. Some people spray painted the car and...

A few days back I was browsing through the auto blogs I visit daily and found a link to the Mattfresh Blog from New Zealand. It became an instant favorite and has given me many new wallpapers to stare at. Recently Matt went to a drift event at the Hampton Downs circuit. Some familiar faces showed up and Matt covered the event in his own cool way. The opening shot contains so much win. Broken aero parts, worn tires, numerous sets of wheels and a cool AE85 in the background that's been dropped...

Hey Speedhunters. My name is Alex Quail and I’m from Milton Keynes, England. Living in MK (a few minutes from the Aston Martin factory), and thanks to my group of friends, I have always had an unusual fascination with cars and Japanese culture. Whilst other kids played with their Action Man figurines and skipping ropes, you could find me and my friends racing our Tamiya Mini 4WD cars across the playground. These interests naturally developed in to a love of Japanese cars as I entered my teenage years, and from that point on my life has pretty much revolved around trying to fund my obsessive hobby....

If you live in or around Tokyo the Daikoku Parking Area is the most common place to hold meets. Over the last year we have seen RX-7 owners gather on July 7th (7-7) and AE86s meet on August 6th (8-6), which obviously gets the mind wondering. How many other date-related meetings could there be? A few weeks back Rod asked me if I had heard of any possible S13/S14/S15 gatherings being held on January 3rd, 4th and 5th. My reply was simple, I had no idea! Best thing I could do is head down to Japan's...

So are you S13 owners doing anything special to mark this day? An afternoon cruise maybe? Spending a couple hours in the garage wrenching? Maybe just a wash? Anyways, it's time to unload the next batch of your S13 photos....

Making a list with cars is always difficult because there will always be people that are disappointed that their favorite car didn't made the list. But I tried and have collected several S13's and RS13's to celebrate this day, tomorrow there will be more S14's and last but not least the S15's. This list has been made in no particular order. Koguchi Power 180SX. I wanted to start with my personal favorite, this Koguchi built car. The 180 was constructed for Yuko Wakabayashi, Koguchi's...

The response to our request for photos of your Nissan S-chassis cars has been an incredible - and the emails are still rolling in. Since it's January 3rd, it's natural that we start out with the S13. Here's the first batch of your S13's, in no particular order....

I'm busy making a list with pictures of famous and inspirational S-chassis cars for the coming days. The cars I have so far include; Koguchi's D1 180SX, Rauh Welt's S15, Team Burst S13, Team Magician's S14a, Rocket Bunny S13, Nob's S15 and a few more. But I'm not there yet and I need your help. Which S-chassis car do you like the most and think should be mentioned in the list? Let me know in the comments! -Jeroen Willemsen

Happy New Year everybody! It's New Year's Day and we are already kicking off what should be another awesome year on Speedhunters. To start the month, we want to show some appreciation for all of the Nissan S-Chassis owners in the community. With the dates 1-3, 1-4, and 1-5 falling in the upcoming week, we want all the Nissan Silvia, 180SX, 240SX, and 200SX owners out there to send us photos of their cars, so we can post them on the site throughout the month. It will be similar to our 8-6 day festivities from August If you or someone know owns an S-chassis, here's what to do -...

While at Cars and Coffee the other day I was walking around enjoying the machinery when I heard the distinctive rumble of a V8 from the corner of my ear. Glancing over, I expected to see a fixed up Camaro or Mustang roll by, but to my surprise the sound was coming from an S13 240SX. Now a V8 S-chassis is nothing new, but I figured this car was certainly unique enough to warrant a quick spotlight....

The boys at C's Garage are at it again. Maybe some of you remember my feature about these brothers? This yellow S13 belongs to Joel and it rolled on Work VX-SS wheels before. But now Joel made a step up and bought himself a set of 19" Weds Kranze wheels. The fitment of the rear wheels is even better than before. -Jeroen Willemsen

The guys at the JDM Style Tuning forums featured this car with an interview and more photo's. This car looks brand new inside and out. It has a reworked SR20 with a host of upgrades; on the outside we see some Wise Sports fenders and Wedsport wheels (18x9.5+10F, 18x10.5+12R)....

As a Bonneville newbie, one item that's become clear to me is that the chassis and engine selection for a land speed record car are two very separate and distinct choices for any car builder. Most competitors combine the engine and the chassis in order to enter what appears to be hundreds of different classes. Often a builder will try and find an overlooked class, build a special car and go for the record. People may even show up at Bonneville with more than one engine in order to set multiple...

A week ago or so me and some mates headed out to a private drift day at Queensland Raceway here in Australia. This day, was just one of those days, 5:30AM wakeup in winter, at the stage where you can't see 2 meters past your front door there is that much fog. The air is crisp and you're full of adrenalin for a big day! These events are held monthly during the week, and I missed out on two last semester, but I was lucky to get this day off and I'm glad i did! Myself and Robo in his Hachi...

If you're planning a trip to Japan, I highly recommend NOT going during the month of June -unless you enjoy wet weather that is. I've been here for two weeks now, and I don't think there's been a single day when it hasn't rained. With that said, here's some more rainy action from the Yellowhat Motorsports soukoukai at Nikko Circuit last week....

What were you doing when you were 16? I, like most Americans was enjoying the newly found freedom of a driver's license, carting my buddies to and from school and driving around for no apparent reason. The last thing on my mind at that time was photography. In fact, I cringe when I look back at pictures I took during those days with whatever crappy digital camera I was using. The case is quite a bit different for Casey John Dhnaram, a 16-year old fellow from Brisbane Australia. Casey has been shooting for four years now, and not surprisingly drifting is one of his favorite subjects to shoot....
