We started slammed month with a desktop wallpaper, so let's end it with another one. Head over to the desktops section for widescreen and standard sized wallpaper of this belly pan scrapping NA6CE. Here's to a fantastic end to a fantastic month! -Linhbergh Nguyen

Most people might find it hard to believe but finding a properly modified VIP sedan in Japan is not that easy, especially up in the Kanto region of the country. VIP is a style that began down south, in and around Osaka, and has over the last decade or so spread around. Different takes on this style have emerged but for my slammed feature from Japan I wanted to bring you the most authentic car I could find, which is where my friend Kenji Yamada came in. Yamada-san runs Sessions, a car shop in Yokohama...

Here's another "Euro"-styled compact car out of Japan, a Z11 Nissan Cube dumped on color-matched OZ Futuras. The boxy, yet organic style of the Cube lends itself so well to this sort of thing. Somehow I don't think I could convince my sister-in-law in to do this to her Cube in Japan... -Mike Garrett ...

We are having some technical problems with our image uploading today, but that doesn't mean we can't post up some cool video clips.

Here's nicely produced video about a VIP style Toyota Century on 20" Brabus wheels. Make sure you check out the last couple minutes where it shows the car rolling to some jazz tunes.

This past month we've seen a whole slew of automobiles dropped to insane lowness. This Miata is no different. This car is like the crispy cornered pieces of brownies that only a select few actually enjoy. And just like any good brownie recipe, the best ones are always the most simple......

To the delight of some, and to the disappointment of others - we've made it to the final day of Speedhunters slammed month. We've seen some wild cars this month, and I wanted to finish up my car spotlights with a look at this Lancer Evolution found at the Hellaflush meet. In a way, this car might be the ultimate street Evo. It's subtle in it's lines, aggressive in its details, and retains everything that makes the Evo one of best performance cars out there....

Whats up, Speedhunters? My name is James Evins and I'm a freelance photographer from Houston, Texas. I'm definitely excited to be posting here today, I've always looked up to Speedhunters for being more in touch with the automotive community (unlike many forms of media this day and age) I know alot of you may have been pretty stoked to get a closer look at Ameen's Toyota Cressida previously posted here on Speedhunters - I know I sure was. Well, today I actually had a chance to stop...

Let's think for a minute.... Think back when was the last time you spent around $250 (€167) and it was money well spent? An iPod? That Nintendo Wii that you waited in that ridiculous line for and is now collecting dust? Or two hundred and fifty Snickers chocolate bars? How about a 1989 Toyota Cressida that Ameen Rizvi bought from a woman that just wanted it out of her driveway? This is a story of a Cressida and the boy that took it on a journey further than any two hundred and fifty dollars...

After doing some research for this month's "slammed" theme, I have come to the conclusion that the VW community are definitely ahead of the game. They produce some amazing looking vehicles with minimum effort... Well at least at first sight; when you delve in deeper, you start to appreciate what it takes to keep building these show winning cars. This Golf is a perfect example, at a quick glance it looks like a standard R32 with a healthy drop and stunning wheels. But when we take a...

I figured I'd follow up yesterday's Cadillac post with another find from Billetproof 2009 - a bagged '62 Ford Thunderbird. Just like the Caddy, this a period style '60s kustom, with the exception of the modern suspension that allows it lay frame at the press of a button. Sooo sexy. -Mike Garrett...

Some owners build a car and after they run out of inspiration they sell it. But there are others that keep evolving their precious metal. We all got to know this car as a rusted E28 with tons of presence owned by Mike Burroughs. I featured his car before when he made a road trip across America . After that roadtrip Mike turned the car into a mean looking WWII fighter bomber. I always enjoy following certain cars and witness the things the owners can come up with as they reinvent their personal rides...

Those of you who've been following our coverage from the recent Pro-Am Nationals at Irwindale Speedway will have noticed that Canadian Ian Fournier took the overall spoils at the wheel of his four door ER32 Skyline. Although this type of car is a fairly common site at drifting events in Japan, it's rarely seen in North America. And this points to an element which differenciates the Canadian Japanese car scene from its American equivalent. Fresh-off-the-boat imported machines are quite plentiful...

I thought I'd follow up my Toyota Cressida spotllight with another one, this time on a distinctively American machine - a '61 Cadillac Coupe De Ville owned by a fellow named Hunter Bender of Sacramento, California. Spotted at Billetproof 2009 in Antioch, this low slung beauty stopped me dead in my tracks, and I've been anxiously waiting slammed month to post up a few photos of this car....

While walking through the paddock at Irwindale on Saturday, there was one car that immediately drew my eye. It wasn't a car competing in the drift event, or even an entry in the car show. Nope, this first generation Toyota Cressida was simply parked in the paddock amongst the heavy duty Chevy and Dodge support trucks. With our focus on all things low and wide this month, I knew this would be a great car to spotlight, and a perfect example of an authentic Japanese style kyusha in the USA....

The reader and demographic divide caused by this month's theme led to some very heated debates, but here's a car that I'm sure would please both parties. Let me introduce you to Edgar's Nissan 300z, or in car nerd terms, a Z32. Just like every other slammed car that we've featured this month, this car's recipe follows the simple rules of the late model import slam: keep the body clean, fill the wheel wells completely with wide wheels, and drop it like its hotter than Marilyn...

This Nissan C33 Laurel was one ride that really grabbed my attention at this past Drift Matsuri. I never actually saw it in action but knew I had to grab some shots before the weekend ended. I have a weak spot for blistered fenders and extended arches, especially when they are appropriately filled up with sexy rims. One thing that makes this C33 special is the RB26 conversion, which provides more than enough power to get that big tail to slide. Massive wheel arches and SSRs? Can anyone think of a...

I dropped by Daikoku Parking Area late last night on my way home from a shoot and quite glad I did as there seemed to be a few interesting cars parked up. This lime green Toyota Vitz grabbed my attention as it was sporting the kind of stance we all like here on Speedhunters. I have decided I will be trying to get down to the world's most famous "PA" more regularly as there is just so much cool machinery on display there pretty much every night of the week! -Dino Dalle Carbonare

While walking around the Hellaflush meeting earlier this month, I saw all sorts of car that were spotlight, or even feature-worthy. Keeping in mind what we've already featured this month, I tried to find cars that were a bit different than those. We've seen a lots of Nissans and Infinitis, various European cars, and drift cars this month, but not too many Hondas. Civics and Integras have been done in every style under the sun, and there are no shortage of "flush" Hondas out there these days. There are a lots of cheesy and poorly executed examples to be found, but rare is a properly done car like this DC2 Integra....

My name is Jae Bueno. I am a freelance photographer here in the Southern California area. I contribute to a few magazine titles like Lowrider Magazine and DUB Magazine and I also publish my blog on my web site JaeBueno.com. I have been into cars since a very young age. When I decided to get into photography at a more serious level I chose the Lowrider Culture as my main subject. Lowriders are full of color and chrome which happen to be two of my favorite things. When Mike approached me to write a guest blog for SpeedHunters.com, I thought I would introduce one of the top clubs if not the top club in Lowriding, Los Angeles’ Lifestyle Car Club....
