    Historic Masters Festival Brands Hatch

The annual UK Historic Masters event took place at Brands Hatch over the bank-holiday weekend. Although the weather was rather grey and miserable we took the trip up to Brands to brighten up our day by inhaling brake dust and clutch smoke and punishing our ears with the sounds of old-school, fire-spitting, back-firing v12s.

We went up on the Sunday when they were using the Grand Prix circuit so we could witness the cars at full-chat down the long straights.  As a bonus there was a 2004 Jaguar F1 with the V10 doing a few hot-laps for the crowd.  Apparently it was clocking 186mph on the straight. 1.15.00 something around the GP circuit at an average of 110mph. Not bad for the conditions. (Pretty greasy.)

I'll start you off with some paddock and car-park shots:

    A personal favourite!

Nice one m8! Love these cars. Before I joined the EA Need for Speed team I produced the PC Sim game GT Legends so got to get up close to some of these cars at Silverstone, Spa, Hockenheim and Estoril. Very cool.
