Hi there good folks or Speedhunters.com. My name is Rommel Bellamy and I came across this site while browsing on Auto-Otaku.com. I am a huge motor-sports fan [both regionally and internationally] and find this site to be wonderful and very informative. I just thought that I would add my first contribuiton to the site with a little preview of our biggest motor-sport event in Barbados called Sol Rally Barbados 2008.

This International event is held once every year and attract persons from our neighbouring Caribbean Islands, to world class drivers such as Chris Meeke, Bjorn Waldergard, Steve Perez etc.

Below you would find a link which contains pictures of Day 1 of this event. Also on this site you would find pictures of other local motor sports events, and social events as well...Our next international here in Barbados is rumored to be held around the end of August 2k8...hope you enjoy the pics....

My uncles used to run Evo rally cars in Jamaica BTW up until around 10 years ago or so. Not sure if they ever came over to Barbados.

thanks for the feedback of this event...the pics postsed so far are actually from Day1....haven't gotten the ones from Day2 as yet...but would post them ASAP

the next events in which International entries are welcomed are being held in August - which is an International Race meet held at our local track...and the other is being held 13th September and is called the Sun & Stars Rally
