     hey james,

did you cut your fenders when installing the flares? the one shot taken from a lower eye level hints at the original fender lip still being there. or am i seeing things... Hmm

     Hi Shawn,

You are correct. The fenders have not been cut yet.Reason being,I did a full rust restoration on the car.We spent many hours cutting out the rears and replacing the whole outer and inners with new fenders. The rears are rolled a bit with a baseball bat.The wheels I currently am running do not really need the zg flairs.I will be getting wider lightweight racing wheels soon and will need to grow some balls and cut out all the hard work I did last winter. It is a little scary to start cutting up a 1972 s30 but it will happen.

that was me asking about your s30..

and i know exactly what you mean about gathering the balls together, in order to cut into an s30.. i've contemplated about it for quite some time, and decided not to flare mine out. i'm going to try to achieve the perfect stance without any flares, since the s30 that i found is absolutely rust free. hoping that whever i'm done with her, if ever, she'll look something like this:

the 280z rear bumper replaced with a 240 bumper, of course.

Hey dsalni,I really like the look of that s30.I wonder what the offset is on those badass wheels.I also wonder what front air dam it has.I don't thing I have seen one like that before. James

    Re: POST YOUR RIDES

Great cars everyone. I am especially particular to the s30's. A good friend of mine has a '70 240z with sr20 swap. He was featured on one of the Japanese Nostalgia car sites not too long ago,  hopefully he'll post soon.

For myself? Well, I am a pretty big fan of all-wheel-drive. I own a super clean,'90 DSM, and I daily drive an '05 Evo VIII. Enjoy..

Works Exhale Turbo-back Exhaust, K&N, Bilstien struts over Hotchkiss springs, Work Emotion CR-Kai 18x9.5 (+20f/+30r), Nitto Invo255/35/18

    '90 Eagle Talon Tsi...too much to list, built 2.0 motor,375whp, evo3 16g etc......

    Re: POST YOUR RIDES

new to the forums here, figured I'd post up my stuff...

the fun car (95 240, SR powered, big turbo, tons of bolt-ons, coilovers, cage, stripped, etc...)

the daily (08 fit sport 5-speed. stock for now but have some BC racing coilovers i'll probably install eventually. until then, 38mpg is fun!)
