Previous Career Paths: Started with Gofaster.nl as a company to promote Japanese car culture in Europe. But decided I wanted to pursue a more creative kind of living.

Notable Projects/Wins: Started my own company called Gofaster and brought out my own car magazine CAT/Gofaster in Holland with the help of a few friends. In 2007 I brought the D1 Street Legal Nissan Skyline ER34 made by Blitz to Europe. Started a blog called Kultivate as a personal project to showcase my taste in cars.

Fav Past Cars: Volkswagen Golf, Honda CRX, Honda EG and EJ,

Next Car: Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R.

Car Passions: Started to buy car magazines at the age of 13 and doing that ever since. I really started with cars when I got my license and started street racing and modifying my own cars. I joined a team called Street Legal Honda and we started touring the shows throughout Holland and Belgium. Nowadays I'm following the Time Attack and drifting series around the world. WRC, F1 and Super GT are race series that I follow when I can. My passion for cars is now focused around vintage and nostalgic Japanese cars and Japanese cars in general especially the Nissan Skyline.

Let's start with part two of my coverage of the Streetpower event at Zandvoort. I couldn't resist starting with the Bonder E36 by DBM Engineering. It certainly is one of the most extreme BMW's I have seen in a while. It even managed to set the second fastest time of the day with 1:50.063. Just saw some pictures of the Ultimate Dubs event held in Telford, England. I can't wait for my next VW event after seeing some of those pictures. One car that really stood out to me is this MK4 R32 with Lamborghini inspired Rotiform wheels. EVENT>> STREETPOWER ZANDVOORT PART 1

Here's some coverage from my first event of the year -the season opener in Holland. Streetpower by Automaxx is an event with a mix of activities at Zandvoort. It ranges from Gymkhana to Time Attack and off course show and shine on the paddock. I spent most of the day shooting the Time Attack cars and I was surprised to see how serious some of these machines have become over the years. CAR SIGHTING>> EK TYPE R

On my way back from a certain photoshoot I spotted this yellow EK Type R that has been imported either from Japan or the UK because the steering wheel was on the ‘wrong' side. It was cool to see this yellow car in between all the other dull looking cars. CAR SPOTLIGHT>> KURO R35

This R35 has undergone minimal modifications but has maximum presence. The car looks almost stock, but those small touches like the Hasemi carbon frontlip and and sideskirt (can I call it that?) make it stand out. After seeing this car I feel that a nice drop can make any car look good. The drop has been achieved with a Esprit Quantum coil over set. After the R32s and the R33s it's now time for the R34, my favorite model. Once again I wanted to start with one of my personal favorites. I know that the R34 has been made with one thing in mind, performance. But these chrome Work Meister S1 wheels looks so good on this white R34. The black accents like the wingstays and the carbon spoiler on the trunk really make it pop. These wheels look huge from this angle. The Yahoo auction site is a great resource for car pictures. One of the companies that tries to sell their inventory there is Global Auto and they have an excellent photographer. In Japan there is one shop to go if you need something done to your R31 Skyline. They are called R31house and are able to turn any R31 into a true circuit racer. I keep seeing these gorgeous cars pop up on blogs and forums proving the VW community is very much alive! A favorite is this burgundy red Mk3 owned by John Redfearn from the UK.
