&lt;p&gt;About the interior, keep in mind that this wasn&amp;#39;t a 100% complete model. As stated in the article, they also swap out &amp;nbsp;MOMO racing seats for the stock cushions. Rubber steering wheel, well, that can be solved with a simple cover. Overall, I find the more pure essence of bare-bones, basic interior matched to a kick-butt engine and tuning to be quite delectable. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The appeal of a V8 is a hard one to resist... But a torquey, great-sounding v6 that *doesn&amp;#39;t* have a lead nose? Hell, swap an IRS (Independent rear suspension) and no one will disrespect your v6 ever again. Many people don&amp;#39;t realize the difference in drive between the v6 and v8 models. &amp;nbsp;Even a stock ~190-210hp v6 can give a good shock to other drivers (*cough - opponents - cough*). Keep the lower weight and up that to 375hp? That&amp;#39;s a mean little car. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Glorified K-Car, horrible handling, front wheel drive torque steering, anemic 4 banging turbo lagged &amp;nbsp;mess.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This was not one of the cars that saved Chrysler. &amp;nbsp;I&amp;#39;m surprised Shelby hasn&amp;#39;t&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;disowned it &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As for the 6, I wouldn&amp;#39;t bother spending the better part of 20K extra over a base V6 when I could&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;pick up a base dealer Shelby for the same money with some haggling.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In 20 years this thing won&amp;#39;t have 10% of the value of a 500KR.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I didn&amp;#39;t do any crazy cornering but some spirited driving did feel pretty good. The chassis was completely flat, no body roll at all and neutral towards the limit.&lt;/p&gt;

You can still have simple and quality together in an interior, but this entry-level Mustang seems to have gone too low-brow in its effort to provide that entry-level.&lt;/p&gt;
