Possibly the best car feature on Speedhunters ever!

I don't think any other time attack car is gonna be as close as the CT230R anytime soon. Despite looking quite average compared to the newer time attack cars nowadays (World Racing Scion tC comes to mind) but the technical specifications are just mind boggling. Also I just want to say that, the CT230R wouldn't be as fast as it is now without NOB. The chemistry between him and this car is magic....

550hp 'only'? I think having too much power in tsukuba doesnt mean its helpful.... its a small track after all, besides this evo is a Time Attack purpose build car.... 550hp? you have to look at how much torque, how responsive is the turbo and engine. and of cos, looking at the car, i think its really well balance and stiff.

Honestly, this '550'hp will give any 600-700hp car a run for its money....

yes, i would love to see this car on Top Gear's test track with stig behind the wheel!

Another AWD car that probably deserves our attention is the Sierra Sierra Enterprise's TA Evo 8.

It's an amazing car indeed. It looks fairly simple when you compare it to the SUN auto Cyber Evo, or the Revolution FD3S, or maybe even the ASM S2000. I mean, the aero on this car is very practical, no unnecessary vents, oversized splitters and canards, the bottom ain't even flat! The brakes aren't even monoblock. I wonder how HKS did it. It's pretty magical.

Great car no doubt, but looking at the photos the build isn't as good as I was expecting - considering the reputation of this thing! It's definitely a "tuner car".

I am impressed, but it is only the best at what it does, since other tuner's just don't seem to have the money to fund such an monsterous build like what HKS have done, or the people or determination to do it with maybe? I duno, but thats my take on why it is probably the greatest tuner car aroun right now. Although things could change if HKS were to ever swap to the plat form in the shape of an R35 GTR and do the same they did to this evo but on a Nissan!? mwahaha *evil laugh*
