Thanks for the nice pics of my 1971 KPGC10 Skyline GT-R.

To clarify a little: The car was invited to the Goodwood Festival of Speed Press Day as a guest of Nissan Motors GB Ltd, and as part of their promotion of the new R35 GT-R. Unfortunately - despite taking part in the Press Day - the car was not part of their plans for the actual Goodwood Festival of Speed event that took place this weekend.

I might take the car to a few more UK events this year though, so hopefully a few more people might be able to get a look at it soon..........

OK guys it is ten before six this morning...........and no rain! yet................

I will do my best to get to the Skyline and prepare the material for a feature.

"Driftworks S15 and the Autosportif Impreza",,,,,better ask Rod, our sainted editor.

Parkergc8....if someone breaks the record it will most likely happen on Sunday.............I do not intend to spend time in the media centre so times may be better located on the Goodwood site.........time spent looking at a screen is time lost from shooting.

The FoS is simply awesome. Prior to leaving the UK, I never missed the event and luckily living near by I would go for two days. Best car event of the year ever year for me.

FoS back in 1997 was actually the second date for my now wife!!! Rained all day and couldnt find the car, because it was covered with mud!

I am very jealous of Mr Brooks and now depressed!

At least it might be sunny here in Vancouver

I was offered the chance to go to this as part of my work but another commitment stopped me :(

I went to the Goodwood Revival event a few years ago and I was blown away. The sight of a dozen Ferrari 250GTOs and other GT cars from that era blasting past in a race has got to be one of the most memorable experiences of my life.

The festival is amazing, I will go next year if i get the chance =)

Let us know who runs fastest on each day?

So many cars will putt down the "driveway" and a bunch will push. I'd be curious to see who push's the hardest.

Keep your eye out for interesting happenings like last year when the Caparo T1 got it's throttle stuck.

Other than that, maybe jjust treat it like a race with a party all around it...
