&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;img src="http://speedhunters.com/aggbug.aspx?PostID=11249" width="1" height="1"&gt;</description></item><item><title>re: THE 101&gt;&gt;SOCAL CAR CULTURE</title><link>http://speedhunters.com/archive/2008/10/02/the-101-gt-gt-socal-car-culture.aspx#9014</link><pubDate>Fri, 03 Oct 2008 15:37:23 GMT</pubDate><guid isPermaLink="false">420e4fdd-8c60-4bd5-982e-b8a5a30bfd00:9014</guid><dc:creator>hechtspeed</dc:creator><description>&lt;p&gt;Agreed, In-N-Out is a big part of the Socal car culture. &amp;nbsp;When my dad and bro and I would go to Famoso or LACR, we&amp;#39;d hit up the closest In-N-Out for some 4x4&amp;#39;s and talk cars and then see other drag racers pull up to do the same. &amp;nbsp;I don&amp;#39;t live in socal anymore (Utah is a long cry except for Miller Park and Bonneville) but its a big part of who I am having lived there until I was 19. &amp;nbsp;My first car was a &amp;#39;72 Bug that ended up as a Cal looker. &amp;nbsp;Then while going to school in Utah, I got my first civic, a &amp;#39;95 EX that I did mild mods to. &amp;nbsp;I moved back to Cali and traded up for a &amp;#39;94 Mustang GT and raced it at Fontana&amp;#39;s strip and Famoso with my dad and bro. &amp;nbsp;Cars are in the blood and it saved my dad and uncle when their dad died in &amp;#39;67 when then were teenagers. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I remember taking my oldest son when he was 2 to cruise ins in Glendora or the NHRA museum on the first Wed of each month year round. &amp;nbsp;Good times!&lt;/p&gt;
