Other than family, the biggest thing I miss about the UK is Goodwood Festival of Speed. I went to every one until 2005 and it was always a highlight in my Motor Racing year. I would see few cars run up the hill climbs. I would spend most of the time in the paddocks or on the front lawn where a stunning display was always to be had. The very wet 1997
We cover British and World Touring Car Championships on Speedhunters, but I thought it would make a change to look at some of the other series around the world. Hopefully, the start of a little series... We will start off with the Danish Touring Car Championship, with the assistance of Gripping Media who have allowed us to use the images and Aslak Vind
In additions to the entries we showed from Silverstone earlier this month, a number of Audi R8 LMS chassis are also competing in the German VLN Series. I haven't come across this site before

Porsche month on Speedhunters was packed with features and we couldn't fit everything into one month, so we decided to keep this back for a feature as the holiday season approaches. Let me know if your interested in these sort of features and I will publish some more livery posts if there is interest. Porsche has a very successful history in motorsport

A special 'style' edition has been available the last couple of years and features some stunning artwork from the Design Studio.I love big calendars
The Racing Poster dates back to the early 1900's when race organisers publicized their forthcoming events on large billboards. This was very popular in mainland Europe. The posters were often graphical masterpieces showing a stylized sense of speed in the form of an illustration. German designer Erich Strenger was approached by Porsche at the beginning
The World Touring Car Championship made its annual visit to the UK last weekend. We touched on the World series earlier this year Valencia and Pau race gallery from David Lister. David supplies the images again as we take a look at the Brands Hatch rounds. James Thompson's JAS built Honda Accord (Acura TSX for North Americans!) in action. Early
Most film/car marketing tie-ins leave me cold. It is rarely done well. However, last weekend Toyota teamed up with Warner Bros to promote the forthcoming Batman film, 'The Dark Knight' and demonstrated the current 'Tumbler' Batmobile with the new Batpod and theToyota TF108 Formula 1 car. The images show the different scales off well
