You guys allready know that I have a weakness for air-bagged cars. I just love the stance and the look of the whole car when it's sitting on the ground. If you come from somewhere like the USA, if someone says "import", you probably picture a fixed up Japanese compact in your head. Battle of the Imports , Hot Import Nights , Import Tuner ... I've always thought the term was a bit funny. Is a Ferrari not classified as an "import"? How about a BMW? Also, many so-called "imports"

Are BMW's the future of JDM tuning? You might think so after seeing the the dozens of customized Bimmers packed into the Makuhari Messe during the Tokyo Special Import Car Show. Japanese tuners that formerly made parts for domestic cars only are rapidly introducing new products aimed at the BMW market. A few of them have even launched all new brands

It's like Tokyo Auto Salon without all the Japanese cars. That's how I would describe the annual Tokyo Special Import Car Show, which happens to be held in the same location as Tokyo Auto Salon. Taking place in two sprawling halls at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture, the Tokyo SIS is a showcase of everything that is happening in the world
