Just found this shot I took the other month of one of Auto Bahn's most extreme time attach machines, a car owned by a loyal customer of theirs. This R32 Skyline GT-R runs some of the best components out there including a Hollinger sequential gearbox which helps shave precious time from gearshifts. Power is around the 700 HP, enough to guarantee

OK time for some Skyline and GT-R coverage from TAS, and not wanting to make a separate post on Fairladys I've decided to add them in here to create a nice line up of Rs & Zs! I have a lot of respect for Toyota's decision on making their future cars more exciting, but I can't hide the fact that my heart lies with Nissan, more specifically

The Z-tune is without a doubt one of the best cars to ever come out of Japan. It's rarity and performance makes it one of the most sought after GT-Rs of modern times, and after looking at how it performs out on the street I though it would be interesting to take a look at the car in more detail. Back in 2006 I followed one step of the build process

It will be another year until we can see these legendary Nissan race machines in action again, so for this final post from the Nismo Festival I have selected some of my favorite action shots... ...starting with another Mt-Fuji shot. The snowcapped volcano is an awe-inspiring sight, what has always symbolized Japan, and to see a JGTC GT-R drive in front

You are looking at what the Nismo Festival was all about this year, racecars. Nissan has never forgotten that enthusiasts want to see their favorite production cars on the race track, something that helps build a strong image for the brand. The concoction of GT-R race engines that were unleashed on the circuit throughout the day was a true visual and

For me the Nismo Festival has always marked the end of the year's event calendar and for 2009 things just couldn't have gone any better, starting with the weather which was fantastic for this time of year with blue skies throughout the day. Nismo always manages to keep the event interesting, despite there being pretty much the same cars every

Here is one nice ride I spotted last month when covering the D1-GP final in Fuji Speedway. This extremely low BNR32 belongs to Ryusuke Kawasaki, the editor of Drift Tengoku (Drift Heaven) Magazine, the only publication you will ever need to read if you are into sliding around in cars! Doriten (the nick name of the mag) first came out back in 1996. It

Sticking the "GT-R" badge on a car that is not an authentic GT-R will earn you nothing but disrespect. It's just something you don't do, unless your name happens to be Nagata-san! Back in 2005, tired of waiting for Nissan to come up with a replacement for the discontinued R34 GT-R, Smoky from Top Secret took things into his own hands

Having posted a few R35 GT-R features so far I thought it would be interesting to see how the most affordable supercar on the planet is actually put together. It's not often that manufacturers let you wander around their production lines, but Nissan has nothing to hide and gave us an in depth tour of how a car of this caliber comes together. It

I can't wait for the time attack season to get going here in Japan, starting with the Tsukuba Super Lap Battle in early December. For me there is no better event on the calendar, and this year, like back in 2007, the guys from High Octane Racing in Australia will be there with their new Advan-sponsored R34 GT-R. This video shows its first ever track
