What an amazing weekend this has been. My throat is still sore from breathing in three day's worth of tire smoke!! After covering the G1 Grand Prix on Friday and the Spring Drift Matsuri up in Ebisu Circuit, I have seen enough drifting to keep me satisfied for quite a while. By the early hours of Saturday morning all five main circuits at Ebisu

How low can you go? Not any lower than this Toyota pick up! It's time to wrap up the coverage of the Mooneyes Street Car National with this last selection of shots from the other Sunday. When asked to post more VW material I knew I had to show you guys this spotless Type 34 Karmann Ghia. There was hardly anything "custom" about it but

I've put together another collection of shots from the Mooneyes Street Car Nationals picking some of my favorite cars from the hundreds of rides that were on display, not to mention what was around in the parking lot! Like I said yesterday it is probably the variety that makes these events so unique from your Americana... ...to the unavoidable VW's

I found myself back out in Odaiba today, roughly a month since the first round of the D1 Grand Prix was held at the same location. Much like at the pro drift competition there was a lot of tire smoke involved, but there was no sideways action to be seen, just a stunningly huge selection of the country's best custom cars. Welcome to the 2010 Mooneyes

Time to wrap up the 2010 Hyper Meeting coverage with this final look at more action and some of the most powerful all-wheels-drive machinery in Japan, starting with the mighty AVO Impreza demo car, now sporting a lighter curb weight and even more power. As Ross explained they managed to shave off close to 60 kg by using lightweight materials and fitting
