With the start of the 2010 drift season just a matter of weeks away, I wave a thankful goodbye to silly season. It's time to quash all the rumors whispers and general gossip surrounding the 2010 serving of the JDM Allstars championship. Niall Gunn of JDM Allstars has been keeping his cards close to his chest regarding whats happening throughout

As its St Patricks day its only right we should feature a Irish driver to mark the occasion. Dublin based Danni Murphy is now in her 3rd year of competitive drifting was the first and so far only woman to have been granted a pro license in Ireland -backing up her licensing performance with consistent top 16 qualifying in her first 3 Prodrift Ireland

For my final installment from Wembley we are going behind the scenes looking at the set up and execution of the event. The build actually started on the Monday and a call from JDM Allstars inviting me down to have a look at the planned track was too good a opportunity to turn down, as its a fairly local event for me i joined the enormous car park surrounding

Bright and early Sunday morning i arrived back at JDM Wembley for the main event and if the previous days qualifying session was anything to go by this was going to be the event of the season so far. A few of the cars had sprouted new decals and appendages in preparation for the days competition, after a fantastic qualifying performance Brad (lightning

In 2008 JDM Allstars made history by hosting the first ever drift event in London, in 2009 they were back to do things bigger and better. Shooting a new track always makes me a little apprehensive as you never really know what to expect, however all fears disappeared as soon as i saw the venue, the round was to be held in one of Wembley's immaculate

It was another early start for the Speedhunting and Wexican crew as we arrived at the track at 8 a.m. Before we arrived the judges, along with Dutch drive Olaf Commijs made some minor changes to the layout. Ffrench walked the track and reckoned that the new layout would suit the RX better as there was a better flow to it. Whilst Martin and Ross prepared

I'll pick up where we left off in the first post , where we were about to embark on an 1,100 mile roundtrip to the UK to compete at the first round of the 2009 JDM Allstars series. We left Ireland on a late sailing and arrived into the UK at around 1a.m. We headed through the night to south west England and to Devon, the home of rotary specialists

In about 12 hours we will be setting sail on an 1,100 mile round trip to Newcastle Upon Tyne in the United Kingdom. The event is JDM Allstars, the now traditional first major event of the 2009 drifting calendar. It features a host of well known EDC, Prodrift and even some continental competitors. For this weekend I'll be covering the event from

It would seem that for every year that passes that the Irish & UK drifting scene always surpasses itself. Since the first pair of tires were burnt in anger back in 2001, the scene here has expanded into something beyond what any of us could of imagined. Although we may not have factory backed teams like in the USA, it would appear that it is only

Ross from Doristars just sent us some photos with some very interesting content. Yep, drifting on the Race of Champions course at Wembley Stadium by drivers from the JDM Allstars series. Did they sneak in at the middle of the night when nobody was looking? I don't think so, but somehow they got access to drift on one of the most unique race courses
