Let's jump right back into the action from Dragfest 2010, shall we? What better way to get started than with this wicked little five-window coupe getting hurled down the old thirteen twenty? Scenes like this are what make events like Dragfest so damn cool. The same goes for views like this - a '69 GTO Judge lifting its front skinnies in the

Now we take a quick diversion from the poetic British clouds and intense FIA GT racing to enjoy a little down-home drag racing action in California's Central Valley. This weekend was Dragfest 2010 hosted by Rod & Kulture Magazine at the exotic Famoso Raceway just outside of Bakersfield. I'm a sucker for retro drag action, so I drove up yesterday

The roads of Southern California are filled with vintage cars of all types, from lowriders and hot rods, to restored muscle cars. A question that might come to mind is just where people find the parts to build these things. Well, a good number of them come from the car-specific swap meets, like the ones held at the Long Beach Veterans Stadium each month

The second event of the 2010 D1GP season was held over the weekend at Autopolis. Dino had another event, so he couldn't be there to shoot, but it was Masao Suenaga who took the victory after defeating Daigo Saito in the final. The event also included American drivers Sam Hubinette, Pat Mordaunt, and Mike Pollard, who drove JZZ30 Soarers borrowed

That was an interesting weekend. I'd seen the pictures, watched the videos, read the stories but yet I still wasn't prepared for the speed of the UK Time Attack series. The season kicked off this weekend at Oulton Park, where the series shared track time with Formula Ford and the Pirelli European Drift Championship. And for the first time in

Well, the streets of the Long Beach waterfront have ceased to be a racing circuit and are now to back to being just.....streets. It's been a great couple of weeks in the LBC, and I want to wrap up my Grand Prix of Long Beach of coverage with some final photos and observations from both on and off the track. I wasn't at the track to see the World

Looking for another awesome automotive event to check out this summer? How about the Pirelli/Grassroots Motorsports Ultimate Track Car Challenge, which will be held on July 23 at Virgina International Raceway. Open to track cars of all types, it should be quite a show. If you're interested in attending, or even competing, have a look at the official

I was glad to see that my coverage of the Mopar Spring Fling in Van Nuys went over pretty well, so here's a final batch of shots from Woodley Park last Sunday. Up above we have a pristine example of Plymouth's upmarket version of the Road Runner, the GTX. Hotchkis Suspension had a large booth at the show with a few of their project vehicles

Now to continue Grand Prix of Long Beach coverage with some race action from the American LeMans series. The last time I'd shot ALMS was at Laguna Seca last year, so I'd had an itch for some sports car action for a while. What better place to take in some American Le Mans than on the streets of Long Beach? Here the #90 M3 takes turn one during
