Could this be the ultimate modified car? Built by Ferrari and perfected by its engineers this 599xx lacks only one thing- you can't drive it on the street. The car is based upon the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano and has the same transaxle and engine layout, but that's where all the similarities end. The V12 engine in the standard 599 produces 620bhp

Not sure if this is intentional but I do know it looks great. The cars are racing in a new series called the International GT Open, the season opener was held this weekend on the circuit of Imola. The series are open to GT2 and GT3 supercars, so a lot of cars from FIAGT and ACO are also running in this series. Picture spotted at Supercars.net -Jeroen

What do you get when you mix Italian design with Japanese flavor? I'm guessing it is going to look like this F40 build by Liberty walk. I'm not a real Ferrari fan, but always liked the F40 for some reason. You need a lot of guts to even start thinking about modifying a Ferrari especially an F40. One weekend, two of the most beautiful circuits in the World and a bunch of cool guys. That pretty much sums up my weekend with Rod, Antonio and John.
