Anybody else getting excited for the North American debut of the Mazda2 AKA, the Demio? I sure am. Here's Trial's tuned Demio for a bit of inspiration. Can't wait to have a go behind the wheel in one of these! -Mike Garrett Trial

The best way to sort through all the material I got from the Tokyo Auto Salon is to divide things up a little and for this first in-depth post I've decided to concentrate on the best rotaries I spotted...along with a couple of other Mazdas. The RE-Amemiya stand in the first Hall has always been the first stand I visit and this year Amemiya-san had

Last year I picked a 2007 issue of the Japanese magazine Racing On chronicling the complete history of the Japanese Touring Car Championship of 1990's. The story does a great job showing the brightly-colored, ground-scraping sedans that ran in the JTCC, but unfortunately JTCC info and photographs are almost non-existent on the internet. It's

This is a car I've been meaning to feature for a while now. It was built by my friend Russ, the man behind the RE-Extreme blog, the place to go to for the latest news on anything and everything related to the RX7. Before Russ got rid of this, his second RE-Extreme project car, we met up in the Tokyo Bay ready to immortalize his very unique ride

Hopefully you guys have been pleased with all the Roadster/Miata content we have been posting over the past couple weeks. I know I've been enjoying it (though maybe I'm a bit worried that the prices for used Miatas and parts is going to go up!). Anyways, this time I wanted to go through my archive and post up some Roadster photos that I've

The photo of this Eunos Roadster in Japan is from Livedoor, one of my former clients in Japan that specializes in end user blogs. I found a photo of this car on Club Roadster, and I think it has exactly the type of stance that all MX-5 Roadsters should have. Just look at the fitment on those rear wheels! NICE! I'm sure the car was a work in progress

Since it's Mazda month, I just wanted to share this totally random photo (that's why we call it random snap) with you guys. I was riding down to Suzuka Circuit a little over a year ago with Koyama and Kumakubo when I spotted this strange looking car on the highway. It was the first time I had ever seen something like this; I didn't know
